You are a Royce fan.... and you want the rematch!?!?!
Royce is already well on the way to screwing up his legacy with his recent interview imo and, as obvious an analogy as it is, he will be the next Ken Shamrock if he keeps going much longer.
I'm praying this fight doesn't happen.
git.

I'm truly hoping this is a rumour. this is one of the worst mismatches in a fight of this magnitude i've ever seen. Please people come to your senses, don't do this. Royce would have to increase his strength by about double, and increase his explosiveness by 100 percent. I can't see enough increase in the areas needed to be any different than the first.

Git- your knowledge, understanding and eloquent verbage said exactly how i feel. I am a big Royce fan and don't want to see him ruin his already tarnished legacy. Let him fight a couple second tier fighters go out with a win and train the next generation of Gracies.

This shouldn't happen, if anything, he should fight someone farther down the ladder. I would like to see him fight someone like Karo or Mayhem. I don't think he would win but it would be a better match up and very interesting.

I think Hughes will put him out quicker if there is a rematch just to show Royce he doesn't belong. Not like their first fight wasn't enough of a one-sided beatdown.
Off topic, but...
What Is With The Capitalizing The First Letter In Every Godamn Word Shit Some Of You Guys Do?

"In a later interview, Hughes claimed that he purposely let Gracie out of the arm lock because he knew that Royce Gracie would not submit and would rather allow his arm to break."
I believe him. Hughes was easily strong enough to break his arm, and Royce had no chance of escaping.
If (please no!) the rematch happens, then I hope you're wrong and that Hughes will go easy on him again.
git.

I'm just thinking back to the ass kicking he gave Carlos Newton in their second fight. It just felt like he was fueled by the doubt over his first win.

All the Gracies are like that and that is one of the reasons i like them so much. When Royler lost to Sak, Sak had a Kimura on him to and Royler was smiling pretty much the whole time. The ref stopped it without a tap. Even though they have lost a lot of fights recently i still consider them the first family of mma.
