(sorry if I miss-spelled Karo's last name)It's rumored these 2 will square off at UFC 61(presumably for the number one contendership) I was wondering what your guys take on this fight was.It sounds like a pretty exciting fight to me that I will definately being looking forward to.

I think Penn will win the fight. He has better standup and excellent ground game,just ask Hughes. Penn can win on his feet and on the ground. Karo is a good fighter no doubt but he cant hang in the octagon with Penn much less Hughes.

Karo Parisyan told MMAWeekly Radio tonight that he's supposed to fight the winner of Diego Sanchez vs. John Alessio.

Penn beats Hughes 9 times out of 10 if Penn brings his A game 9 times out of 10

Parisian is a very good fighter though, but he loses this one and Penn gets his rematch with GSP cuz GSP.. will beat Hughes.

Parisyan-Sanchez should be a great fight. I like Parisyan in it, but Sanchez could easily take it also and if he does, he's in the big picture at Welterweight.

the way diego was exposed tonight i think karo takes care of him easy. all allesio used was a stiff jab and dominated diego. so i think karo who has a similar game to allesio wins fairly easily. the judges are a different story however

im waitin for Diego to get dominated, thats what I wanna see the most right now aside from Chuck losing, Matt losing, and Tito losing.

The way that Diego was exposed isn't to Karo's advantage though. Karo wants to take the fight to the ground. Diego's standup isn't that great but Karo's is even worse. Karo doesn't have the sprawl that Alessio does. So while Diego's weaknesses were exposed tonight, those weaknesses don't really play to Karo's strengths.

my belief has always been if Diego cant overpower you.. he loses the fight, so far hes only beaten one guy that I know of without overpowering him and that was Nick Diaz and I dont even know where to begin on that fight, now I know he beat Alessio too without overpowering him but lets be real did he really win that fight or did the judges give it to him?
