there was a special best of pride episode on best damm sports show on fsn and it totally sucks. when you think of pride which two fighters do u think of first? probably fedor and wand. there were no fedor or wand fights on it and only one fight with dan henderson in it. the only fight that might be able to qualify for the best of pride was the nog vs. cc fight. its bs most of the fights were of japanese fighters submitting other fighters. i wonder if pride was able to pick the "best" fights, cause most of them were japanese fighters. they probably just wanted to showcase their hometown japanese fighters. there wasnt no wand,fedor,shogunn,hunt,alex. bunch of bs, i could have made a better best of pride episode. people who never watch pride that happen to watch that show probably think that pride sucks. pride fans piss me off, they always just like a fighter if he is from japan. all the other talented fighters should come over to the ufc and japan can have their fighters since they r the only ones that the root for.

That sounds like it really sucked. At first glance of the topic I regretted not catching it on the tube but now I am glad I didn't.

Sounds like a pretty bad misrepresentation by PRIDE/Best Damn Sports Show...but try to be the least bit sensitive by not generalizing and stereotyping "all pride fans" into the "if the fighter is from Japan" segment.

By doing this, you sound just as ignorant and biased as the "all pride fans" you described previously.

Like startrak said, this is just generalizing and by no means a fact. Also I can think of countless non Japanese fighters that the Japanese fans go absolutely nuts for.

If any thing the uneducated American fans are some of the worst in the world at being completely biased to their fighters. Hell, they even boo the other fighters. When was the last time you saw the Japanese fans do that? Not that I am talking about all American fans mind you. Just the ones that know absolutely nothing about respect. There are other countries where the same bs happens.

I was at the bar last night and I only caught the Nog Cro Cop fight, but it was the first time I got to see it.

I searched on my cable box for Pride on FSN, but nothing came up, or else I would have Tivo'd it. I don't feel so bad knowing that it pretty much sucked.
