It's a shame Chuck's camp saved his ass after the mount, I wanted to see Rampage grab Chuck by the throat and rain down those huge rights and watch Chuck's head bounce back off of the matte.

Yes I am a Chuck hater, I can't pinpoit the reason as I do enjoy his fights, I just don't like the hype surrounding his name and his demeanor in general bothers me so I would like to see Silva break him down.

The pro Chuck camp is going to justify Chuck's loss in this thread by saying it was in 2002 and Chuck is much better now and/or it was in a PRIDE ring.

He was completely dominated in that fight and was very very close to loosing to Overeem as well, if Overeem did not gas (obviously that should not have happened to any PRIDE fighter as they are accustom to 10 minite rounds) Chuck would've been finished off, he was very close.

i like Chuck, and i hate people who defend losses. Chuck didn't make excuses, so why should they.

But i do disagree when you say Chuck has not gotten better. since then he has become more aggressive, taking to stalking his opponent instead of just backing up and setting up the footwork and angles to land a big shot. with more aggression, Chuck controls the pace and seeks the big shot actively, and it's been pretty effective

if they fought right now anywhere doesnt matter Cage,Ring, or a fucking backyard brawl, Chuck knocks Rampage the fuck out. Sorry but its true. Chuck has became a much better fighter while Rampage is obviously on the decline. By the way would Tito still fuck up Wandy?

You never know what would happen if Chuck and Rampage fought again, for fought each other 10 times..no less Chuck VS Sobral or Chuck VS Silva...

And Tito would not fuck up Wanderlei - and if they fought in PRIDE, Tito would probably get so many green/yellow/red cards and $ deducted from his purse he might even go home broke. That guy stalls/stalled way too much that fight.

Funny how you claim Rampage is on the decline when he defeated Randleman, Bustamante,Illoukhine, Liddell then lost to Silva (after pummeling Chuck for 2 rounds). This is where you claim his career has "declined" he defeated Minowa, then Arona (#2 ranked LHW in the world, don't kid yourself), then another loss the Silva (#1 ranked LHW in the world, not opinion actual fact), then defeated Ninja, then lost to Shougun (top ranked LHW, would dominate UFC and make Chcuk his bag boy), then defeats Yokoi, then defeated Dong Sik Yoon (UNANIMOUS decision but your defense will be he's an 0-3 fighter and he mounted Rampage, so that nullifies Rampages win right?) and most recently Lindland (Lindland is a great wrestler, he made the fight boring as everyone expected and Rampage still pulled out the decision, unanimous IMO as rd. 3 was clearly Rampage, the gilluotine did not finish the fight, no pointes shouls be awarded for a choke that fails).

So somewhere in ther his career declined as after he beat Chuck senseless for 2 rounds he lost to the best LHW in the world, then he lost again to the best LHW in the world, then defeated the #2 LHW in the world, then lost to a top 5 LHW in the world so how exactly is that a decline?

Chuck is one of my favorite fighters, but I don't blindly like people. You have to realize that all fighters get better with time (until they are too old). If you don't believe this, well then you're just not that bright.

No, for the simple fact that the sport has obviously evolved a signifficant amount from the year 2000 to the year 2003 so that comparison is ridiculous. Look at fights from 2000 then look at fights from 2003 then look at fights from 2006, the biggest difference is going to be 2000 to 2003.

So you are using the excuse that he is better than he was then?

Not sure where you are coming up with this accusation, never did I say Chuck has not gotten any better, I said the pro chuck fanatics are goignt o justify the loss by saying, he's much better now, it was in a cage, blah blah and TheBonger has proven my point exactly as I knew it would be proven.
