just a question about this drop to LHW. come on the guy fights at 6,4 240 let alone what he walks around at. where is the fat or water weight AA can drop. your talking about 30-45 pounds to make 205. my opinion he aint droppin' to LHW. as where he goes, hope he still has fights in the UFC. If Kongo wins at 62 maybe he fights AA. probaly to soon though for Kongo.

AA isn't going anywhere. he will stay in the UFC cuz like everyone has been saying, he's a draw. if Kongo beats whoever he's fighting at 62, he and AA should fight in October. i think that would be a great fight!
Oh yeah and WAR Monson!!!

So at 234 he's 29 lbs to drop. 234 is around what guys like Chuck and Tito walk around at. So dropping the weight is very possible. What AA would do is about a week before the fight is start cutting back his food and water. Then just simply cut the rest the day before in the sauna. AA can and will drop to LHW. If Franklin can make 185 then AA can make 205.

despite back to back losses to Tim he's the best HW in the UFC? Sylvia doesn't get the respect he's earned.

i hate tim sylvia and i was so upset to see him lose, best of luck to him where ever he goes. he weighs 235 and would need to get down to atleast 225 to make lhw. i dont know how much more fat there is to be cut off of him but iv seen guys a lot more cut them him with very little body fat, so it is possible, he would give anybody in the lhw devision a run for their money, possible be the best.

Somewhere down the line, Arlovski will get the Vera/Mir winner, probably in December of January. First off, though, he's going to need to beat someone in the meanwhile, perhaps at UFC 63 or 64. Should he win, an Arlovski fight against either Vera or Mir is good for the fans, and for everyone. Chances are that it will be a title eliminator, and people have been wanting to see Arlovski/Mir for a long time. They probably would have fought at UFC 51, 53, or 55 had Mir not been messed up still from that bike crash. Not only that, but this fight would probably only happen if Mir beats Vera, indicating that he's back, because he won't beat Vera if he puts on another performance like he did against Dan Christison. On the other hand, Arlovski/Vera is a very intriguing, evenly matched fight. Both of them are explosive, athletic heavyweights with heavy strikes and strong ground games. That would have a chance of being a Fight of the Year candidate in my opinion.
