You're a "hardcore" so you'll appreciate this... DEEP hired the video guy from PRIDE and are rumoured to be putting on a DEEP BUSHIDO card sometime soon with a bunch of ex-PRIDE guys.

P.S. Akiyama will -not- be on the MWGP card but he could be on the NYE show.

Thats interesting about the Pride/DEEP connection smoogy, here is the card so far for the Shootboxing Ground Zero event at the end of next month, note that part in bold.
Previous Ground Zero events have had special mma matches (Shootboxing is basically kickboxing), but as far as i have been told, it is likely to be just shootboxing rules, i wonder what former Pride fighter/s that are available would be good enough to fight in a standup only fight?

DEEP's President Shigeru Saeki was also PRIDE Bushido's matchmaker. That's cool they'll be throwing some DEEP Bushido cards now. I just hope the upcoming cards don't fall a part.

Who else here thinks K-1 should just drop Kickboxing and just do MMA? now that Pride is dead.
