Is this matchup really confirmed? I am not on Jardine's nuts, but he is light years ahead of Nickels. Jardine has shown a ton of heart and some skill on a couple of big shows.

Anybody on this forum see Nickels fight other than that fight on TUF? I saw a highlight of his fights on youtube, I think, and he looked okay, but nowhere near Jardine's league.

I think all you guys are selling Nickels really short. Yes, he looked terrible on the show. But I think part of the reason was that he wasnt expecting to stand up with Hamil. They didnt realize that it was gonna be stand up fight until the 1st rd was almost over. I think if Hamil wanted to fight his regular fight, Nickels submits him because he is acctaully really good at submission.

Since that fight Nickels fought Combs. Who everyone thought was gonna knock him out in the first round. You know what happen, Nickels made Combs look like an idiot. So I acctually think he has a decent chance against Jardine. If the fight goes to the ground, say goodnight to jardine. But that being said I do think Jardine will win, he just wont dominate.

Jardine is just as good as Nickels on the ground though, his ground skills are very underrated.
