Nick is 24, he has 11 years before he reaches his mid-30s. You could have spent 15 minutes on the internet to find that out. I even think he has a Wiki page, geez.
| WTF dude? I know how old he is. He says that hes 24 in the interview. Your ability to do math to figure out that he has 11 years to 35 is amazing, but what is the point? He has no skills other than fighting, and hes not making the big bucks fighting (hes in the minors now), so I'm saying that I'm worried about his long term future. Plus if he goes down with a bad injury, his life is pretty much done (at least NBA and NFL players usually have college degrees). I dont see why you are getting so pissy here. Quote: |
And he was complaining more about the guy interpreting his inability to pee as an unwillingness to take the test.
| He was complaining about both:
"Nah man, it wasn't even an issue then. I was just annoyed that this short Mexican dude was hoverin' me. I don't know his name or anything man."
PS Its moderately racist to repeatedly refer to somebody as "Mexican" if you dont know anything about him.

I'm glad someone else feels this way. It seems like there are so many people that think he is so funny and cool. I don't get it.
He just seems like a pretty typical California pothead with a really big soap box. And slightly retarded in ways at that.

Probably the best quote I can remember about him on this forum...sorry, can't remember the name of the person who said it now...was during the discussion of his weed-influenced NC. And they said something like "he might have a prescription. A lot of people use it for medicinal purposes. Just look at angry the guy is--if you were stuck on a bus, would you rather be stuck next to an unmedicated Nick, or a medicated Nick?"
I should find the actual quote, I'm sure I've butchered it. But you get the idea, I hope.

i think people care more about diaz now than they ever did. i personally could care less if he comes back to the UFC, but he is great competition. he just needs to be a little more humble and respectful, then maybe he could get back to the UFC.

PS Its moderately racist to repeatedly refer to somebody as "Mexican" if you dont know anything about him. | You do realize he has a black belt in Gracie JJ and that is as good as a college degree. He can probably make as much or more money as most college grads just training people in GJJ. Not to mention the kind of money he could make if he opened his own place. So you're argument is absurd and proves you really know nothing about Nick Diaz so you should just stop right now before you make more of a moron out of yourself.

Or figuring out a way to prove that someone who can't fight can't possibly coach or train other fighters. If only Nick had a close friend who would be willing to help him out if he got hurt. Or a family member, that would be even better.

| 1) He says that he is a black belt (and got it after the Gomi fight) and repeatedly says that he is trained by Cesar, so any kind of claim that I didnt know those things is patently absurd since they are said right above where I posted.
2) Hermes Franca is a BJJ guy who has his own gym (a well respected one too). Yet he couldnt make ends meet, which is why he cheated before the Sherk fight. So, lets not pretend like a black belt in BJJ is "as good as" a college degree in that its guaranteed money. I know a few multiple degree Karate blackbelt guys who have their own dojo, and lets just say that they aint exactly swimming in the cash. I've also seen pictures of Cesar Gracie's gym, and I doubt that hes making the big bucks based on that, but appearences might be deceiving there.
3) Opening your own place is hard as hell (ask Hermes), is by NO MEANS guaranteed money, and requires a lot more skills than just martial arts. Financial skills, people skills etc etc. You think parents are going to pay money to have somebody who acts like Diaz does teach their little kids? That leaves training hard core guys, which is a very very very tough market to say the least. Do you really think that Diaz would be better at running a gym than Franca?
Next time before you get all snippy, please consider how absurd your accusations are. A lot of your statements really fall apart fast when you put any thought into them.

You're an idiot for the ages Karl. A GJJ Blackbelt is just a notch above a typical BJJ black belt or any other black belt you retard.
Have you seen BJ Penn's gym? Looks like crap but BJ has nothing to worry about when it comes to cash.
My point is you're acting like he's fucking homeless if he can't fight which is retarded. Oh poor Nick if he can't fight........you're a blazing fucking idiot and prove it to everyone everytime you get on here.
Go play in traffic you douchebag!!
