Well I don't want to go as in depth as you did Boone, but great thoughts there. I agree with you on most of it. I know Lister is dangerous on the ground and I did pick him to win, but I didn't think it'd be that quick.

Overall I was speculating whether buying this card would be worth it. And when all the fights were ending quickly it was good because they were good finishes, but I was thinking whether or not UFC would screw us over on the prelims and not show them. (Since they have the new $2 thing) But UFC showed all of the fights but one. Sure I would rather see Horn/Sonnen than Gonzaga/Scherner, but I'm not going to bitch about that.

Also I split the price with friends of couse, so I didn't spen that much. Worth it.

Brandon Vera did a hell of a job... He measured up Silva with kicks he saw he was strong his base wasnt going to be broken.. Vera fell got back up on his feet he let the man have the take down and while he was up he locks on the choke... that was Gr8.. a Swickotine.. Diego did win that fight fair and square.. If it wasnt for Jeremy Horn in Alliesso corner he would have been choked out in a heartbeat.. Diego never gave up on his game plan and it worked in the end.. theres no way you can argue that fight in my mind it was the most boring fight ive seen in a while... Some gr8 defense by Alliesso his Sprawl is as good as chuck liddells in that fight... that was a great fight for both guys.

I was disappointed in tonights card.Lots of good finishes just to damn fast in most cases.Biggest suprise for me was Swick.I thought this was going to be a challenge for him.I do think that him and Vera proved they are for real.Swick should not catch anymore shit for being on TUF.I also felt that Diego Sanchez
lost his fight. It was close though so not to upset with judging other than the one who gave him 30-27 score.

About the armlock on Gracie, Kass, the only time I thought it was bad was when they said it just popped out and blah blah. At that exact moment, their biggest reaction of the submission attempt, the PPV camera shot was on the far side so you could literally see nothing. So I was just going off their commentary.

thats my point. ya he was bending it back but just like the sanchez fight there was no way he was gonna sub him from that position in regards to the armbars and goldberg made it sound like it was in there. the point were they said he may have popped his arm out of place was after hughes had already let go of the arm and was in regards to before hand. the reason the arm was bent like that was not because of hughes but because of royces flexability.

Either way that had to hurt Royce bad... He was breathing heavy... Hard face was Red. He has too much pride to let someone make him tap... the Arm could have been snapped in two pieces and he wouldnt have tapped... yes he is flexable but still a submission is a submission.. They all Hurt..

modified keylock is a way of saying it wasnt a keylock there was nothing there just like allesio had nothing against sanchez

If Jeremy Horn wasnt in Allesio's corner and he didnt have the presents of mind to go to the corner he would have been Lights out.. that was probably one of the more unorthodox ways ive seen to block a Rear naked choke...
