Matt Hamill vs Michael Bisping - UFC 75

It's a close contest that goes the full 3 rounds. When the judges return with a verdict, it is split but gave Bisping the win. The lone judge who thought that Hamill one gave it to him 30-27, while the two for Bisping went 29-28. Many fans contend that Hamill should have won and kept his undefeated record. Afterwards Bisping's father was accosted in the parking lot of the England arena where the event took place.

Although this fight wasn't in the UFC(K-1),recently Royce Gracie was awarded a non-deserving win over Sakuraba. I suppose alot of people would argue that Sakuraba didn't deserve the win either,but one thing
was clear,Gracie certainly didn't earn the victory. This decision probably wouldn't be considered nearly as tragic as the 3 that you mentioned.

I already posted this on the noob forum and it wont let me post things here yet but I dont know if this was posted already cause im a noob but this fight really pissed me off cause i dont know what fight the judges was watching only one judge scored it 27-30 Hamill so i guess hes the only one paying attention

Hamill threw 57 standing arm strikes in rounds two and three combined. Bisping threw 90 standing arm strikes in rounds two and three. Hamill recorded six takedowns in three rounds.


I'd really like to see people try to defend the decision with these numbers out. Keep in mind Bisping was backing up the entire fight, and that he was dropped by Hamill. Agression, "Octagon Control" and all that stuff should have gone to Hamill as well.

About the Baroni/ Tanner fight, Evan whooped Phil in their rematch anyways!!

True, and I was glad, but I think it got into Baroni's head. He's been screwed over a couple times in the UFC and I think that really hurt his career. If he had been able to make a viable attempt at that match (win or lose) I think he could have continued on his rise in the UFC. Now maybe he would have lost anyway and maybe I'm completely wrong about what he would have done afterwards, but you have to admit that it didn't help his career at all.
