I used to promote concerts what point would it make if I promoted a concert
with led zepplin on the main billing and beatles as the opening act.
would be a bad decision because my undercard would be as good or stronger
than my finalie and I would have no talent for next month.
look around why hasnt arlovski fought tito yet??? the biling is so high they need a year of hype to make the money for the event through promotions
take care guys but remember promotions is what this sport cares about not
winning fights. the promoters control the fighters. Think about it!!!!

First off you said that UFC should bring in some "middleweights" to fight Hughes. Last time I checked Matt is a WELTERWEIGHT. Along those same lines. Tito is a Light Heavyweight while AA is a Heavyweight. Alessio didn't do squat to prove that he deserved to win that fight. You obviously don't know your ass from your elbow. The undercard had some great action despite most matches being quick. Fishers knockout will be on the highlight reels for a long time. Melvin's knockout was brutal. Swick and Vera finally proved to the naysayers that they are legit contenders.

I think this guy is fairly new to the sport and hasn't seen much UFC if he is asking questions like why hasnt Arlovski fought Tito? lol Also Pride sets up easy matches for their champions all the time, and also non title fights. Like Fedor vs Zuluzinho. Marcus Aurelio vs Gomi was supposed to be the same, but Aurelio shocked the world and submitted Gomi in the 1st round to shake things up.

I don't know if this guy realizes that Royce has only won 2 of his last 7 fights, with 3 draws and 2 losses(counting the Hughes loss). He couldn't finish a 143 lb fighter in Tokoro, who is a solid veteran but only 12-10 overall, and definitely no Matt Hughes. Royce only has one submission win since his fight with Dan Severn in 94, and that was in a freak show match vs sumor star Akebono. Royce has aged, and hasn't been fighting alot the last couple of years. He also hasn't been fighting competition that are Matt Hughes level, or near there.

Everything you say thus far as been very uneducated and purely speculation i'd understand if maybe your a nub or something ,but you act like you really know this sport when reaaly you don't know shit.Matt Hughes has been handed any easy opponents-GSP,Penn,Carlos Newton,Joe Riggs,scheduled to fight Karo I wouldn't say those were easy fights plus he had to fight royce.It would be different if you had any actual proof the fight was really fixed-it happens all the time in boxing ,but you just saying the fight was fixed b/c things didn't go as you planned is ridiculous.

but the straight arm-bar is very easy to escape it looks bad but ur thought to wiggle out of it, its not something u should tap to.
