leben was sloppier than hell tonight. his ko was really impressive, but he even said how lucky it was. he cant beat franklin and in the event that someone beats franklin he won't be able to beat anyone able to beat franklin. and as for "who's better: leben or quarry?", i'd have to go with quarry. leben has fought like a moron in his last two fights. quarry always fights smart, despite getting destroyed by ace.

Hey mmapimp theirs no such thing as a lucky punch douche! That being said Leben has learned nothing since his loss. Chin up, sloppy and hoping his punching power gets him through. Swick whips his ass in a rematch and Franklin really whips his ass. Top ten middleweight I don't think so. Leben fans ned to stop living off the first Swick fight, It was three years ago. When he beats a top ten guy then maybe he might be a top ten guy.

I'm a Leben fan, I actually met him in the airport in vegas after his "win" over Cote. He was friendly enough of a guy, who was sore as hell from the beating he took to Cote but won the decision.

Anyway, I'm pulling for Leben but he just looks too sloppy of a fighter and I can't see him being effective against the likes of Rich Franklin, Loiseau, Silva or even a really good wrestler like Nathan Marquardt. I'd like to see it he does have a punchers chance..

Swick, c'mon that guy fights like once a year...Over hyped, let's see how he holds up against Loiseau. Loiseau defends against the rear naked choke very well, has viscious elbows, and can take a punch. We shall see what Swick has after 2 minutes in the octagon!

After Loiseau beats Swick we'll be in line for a Leben-Swick fight!

leben sucked.. he was sloopy as hell and the only reason he didnt get koed is he has a solid chin... he has no footwork and if he fights another top tier striker he will get koed!! leben has potential and if he trains right and dedicates himself he could be top competition. i dont know if he'l ever be champ the way the div. is stacking right now but we'l have to wait and see....i just hope he gets some fucin footwork!

I don't think leben will ever be champ by 30 or by 40 it just won't happen. Someone asked about Leben compared to Quarry, if Quarry wasn't hurt that's deffinately the fight I would want to see. Leben though is not in the league of Franklin, Silva, Tanner or Marquardt (sp?) and Lister for that matter. I like watching the guy fight but he aint gonna never be no champ. Unless it is in King of the Cage or somewhere else.

Leben admitted he threw that punch wildly and was just hoping to connect.

Leben will lose 99/100 times to Anderson Silva, and he'd be beaten by Rich too. I don't think he can hang with the best of the best.

I'm sorry i'm not trying to sound like a dick but why does everyone on this board revolve around the phrase "not in the league of blank." So Leben is not in the league?? Where are these leagues and what are they? Lister has a league? There are different leagues upon leagues? All these different leagues are confusing me.Well if Leben was allowed in Listers league Lister would get KTFO,he wouldnt take Leben down,he would gas and throw his little ballerina feathery soft punches and get the big left Leben hammer and go to sleep and go back to his league.Whats his best weapon? Inviting someone to guard? Dude is a glorified BJJer.
