Sadly I would actually want to see that if it happened. Despite how many times Tank has dissapointed, I always do want to see his fights.

Not a plug, although it does link to my website. Just a new piece of news I figured I'd share with everyone here.
I doubt the fight ever comes off, but if we're talking about Sakuraba vs. Rickson, we might as well talk about this one because IMO they have equal chances of happening.
Then again whoever thought we'd see Royce Gracie in the UFC again and against someone the caliber of Matt Hughes?

Royce should fight one more fight a nobody and retire.. He wont cross train and get on the weights... so he cant fight in todays MMA.. Plain and simple... and im one of the biggest royce fans youll come across... and im saying hes washed up... he didnt even get a guard on Hughes... Hughes took his time with gracie... A family with that much pride should just give up cause without cross training they cant win the fight...

Well rumors are rumors, I think this is a legitimate post. Tank is an MMA fighter after all so it does belong hear, no matter if anything will ever come of the rumor anywayds.
I don't think Royce will be back in the UFC. I'd love to see an arrangement of Royce/Shamrock at a certain weight, but hasn't Royce said he won't fight Shamrock? I forget.

I have absolutely no interest in seeing that fight, well unless Goldberg gets KTFO. But as long as it happens outside of UFC then I don't care either way.

personally i was never impressed with goldberg in wrestling. his career was a fluke. it was all about the right look at the right time. at first the guys matches didn't even last as long as his entrance and that was because they was hiding is inability to wrestle. i know alot of people might say the guy is a beast, but remember its professional wrestling he was only made to look like a beast.

Yeah between injuries and age, and the fact that neither guy is a legit MMA fighter (Tank might be recognized as one, but he's always been a glorified brawler who came up on the better end of a "puncher's chance" a few times allowing him to create a fan base and be considered part of the SPORT) my interest level for this one isn't much. It won't happen in my opinion, as Goldberg ignores offers to put on spandex tights and do a spear and jackhammer for a billion dollars on a regular basis, so fighting someone who could legitimately detatch his head from his big ass shoulders for a much smaller amount of money would seem like something that's never going to happen. Then again Goldberg always fantasized about being an MMA fighter, and in his mind beating someone like Tank who just comes in swinging would legitimize Goldberg in the MMA world (again, in his mind) and would allow him to walk around like the mega-bad ass he thinks he is.
Plus shit, they wouldn't hurt a smaller company (this fight even if it does come off won't be in the UFC at all) with a big ass headline bout like that. Would put a new company on the map, and there's never too many up-and-coming organizations in MMA, as we've learned recently.
