Sylvia wears his belt around???

OK.....Tim, listen to me. We know you're the current UFC HW champ. We do. We don't like it, because quite frankly, you're usually an ass, but we all know it. But that doesn't mean you have to wear your belt as a spectator. Do you wear it to the mall? In the shower? At your night Job at the Wendy's drive-through?

I didn't see Chuck wearing his belt in the crowd. I'm just saying that maybe...just maybe, you're a little too old need a wubbie.

Maybe he's just really, really proud of himself.

This from Ruslan Nagnibida's Fedor interview, Translated by Kolchak from Sherdog...

Fedor: Yes, as I already mentioned, in October the first Pride event in America takes place in Las Vegas. As for my opponent, American Tim Sylvia is being considered.

If this happens, then perhaps he will be less proud of his world champ status after a tiny little shit submits him in under 10 seconds.

git.

I honestly don't think the UFC will make the mistake of sending one of their champions to an almost certain lost. And besides, they'd get very little in return since their main target audience will have no idea who in the hell Fedor is. Though I'd love for them to send him over and help Pride here in America.

Yes, Dana most likely is not as delluded as Sylvia and knows it would be a loss. I can't see this fight (if it would even qualify as a 'fight') ever happening.

its possible....

Dana is a shrewd businessman. As long as Sylvia holds the belt, its unlikely this match would happen, unless .......... the UFC has been saving the billions and billions of dollars they've been making to finally snag Pride's crown jewel away from them.

If that were the case .... then by all means, bring Fedor into the cage to strip the belt from Sylvia, and then make that surprise 'Welcome to the UFC Fedor' announcement.

Before you pride lunatics start shouting blasphemy from the hilltops ..... think about it. The UFC is in much better financial shape, and Fedor's popularity overseas coupled with the UFC's marketing machine could make a million dollar investment turn into a hundred million.

Hmmm.......

dont know how good you memory is, but Tim is not the first person to where his belt at fights. I do happen to remember a certain Tito Ortiz wearing his belt at every PPV whether he was fighting or not.

That doesn't surprise me Bonger. It just seems a little primadonna-ish. Its just my opinion, but I've always preferred champions who show class. Wearing your belt everywhere screams "Look at me ... Look at me....I'm the champ!!". I don't recall seeing Randy,Chuck,or even Fedor walking around with it when they weren't fighting.

I agree with you completely, while I dont mind big Tim as a fighter, he could really use some humilty as a person. Then maybe everyone wanted hate on him so much. I still think he is a beast of a fighter who hasnt come close to realizing his full potential. But doin shit like that is not going to endear him with anyone.

Sylvia's a troll, he makes assinine remarks abot Fedor being a little shit, him mathcing up well with Cro Cop or Nog, will probably claim that he would beat Barnett as well.

He wears the belt because he is very proud of himself and IMO is surprised he has the belt so he wants to have it with him for as long as he possibly can.

Even if Tito did it, still, why the hell is Sylvia biting Tito on wearing the belt in public?

I wonder is he wears it during workouts and points down at with his thumbs like the pro wreslters?
