Default mma "judging"
When are we going to start getting decent MMA judges for MMA fights? I can't think of a single fight lately that went to the cards where at least ONE of the judges had a WTF? score. I have come to expect it, and that is a bad thing.

Boxing this ain't. Get some judges that UNDERSTAND the SPORT before we have a huge PPV fight that gets the same pub as the shady boxing decisions everyone knows and hates...

I really have to agree with what you said..... you need people looking at the fight that know how to fight....I actually think that they should hire retired fighters to be judges....but not anyone that would hold a grudge over another fighter...like say Shamrock judging an Ortiz fight but maybe have like randy cotour judge or even have these fighters show the judges what to look for when it goes to a decision!!

UFC doesn't pick the judges, the athletic commission does. and UFC is trying to go around educating the judges with seminars.

I heard this, but I still don't buy it. They have NO influence? I see it in more than just UFC, BTW

yeah it was prety sad last night the was one of those judges scored the fight. Tito recieved one of those as well, I'm sure by the same Judge.

I also thought the fight was going to go to a split decision and not unanimous decision.

well i know they can specifically request that a certain judge doesn't score any bouts, like dana said the guy that gave tito/griffin a 30-27 will never judge in UFC again, but the judges are pretty much random
