Karo looked more skilled than Diego
 

Karo looked more skilled than Diego he just took a shot to the eye and it hurt him early on.Once he regained his composure he threw Diego around effortlessly.Diego looked like a rag doll.Diego won that fight on conditioning.If they had a rematch my money would be on Karo.

I may get some crap for writing that ,but it's the truth.I'm interested in hearing your replys.I'm not a diego hater or anything like that I just think that Karo is the better fighter and just had a bad night against Karo.

I agree that Karo is probably a better technical fighter. Those throws had me jumping out of my seat, yelling out loud, purely amazing. But great conditioning makes great fighters too. I don't see why Diego should be given any less credit for his conditioning. I don't love or hate Diego or Karo. But they *both* impressed my socks off with that fight... just for two different reasons. Both of them should be proud, they fought like warriors. I'd love to see a rematch, but I just don't see why it would necessarily end any differently.

yea i agree....i figured karo was winning that fight til he gassed out the end of the 2nd and into the 3rd round

I'll give Diego credit where credit is do.He found a way to win ,but I don't think this fight means that Diego is championship material.

Don't understand you're thinking there. Karo is championship material and Diego just beat him in a great match. Thus Diego is now championship material.

i think that it should planly be stated that no matter who was the seemingly more skilled fighter Sanchez won. I hate to have to give him his due, but he has earned my respect. I would love to see him fight BJ Penn, with the winner being the logical number one contender at that time. Any thought?

You're right Karo's championship material ,but that doesn't mean that Diego is there were extenuating circumstances surrounding the results of that fight.Karo looked more skilled and looked like a better fighter.He took a shot to the eye and it messed him up.If they fought again I think Karo would dominate Diego.

Dominate might be streching it, karo can throw anyone in the division, we all know that, but can he finish someone who is his equal once they get to the ground?

I put this in another thread, but last night showed me that Karo has no understanding of wrestling. If you have a wrestler on their back in an MMA you keep them on their back. You dont let them find a way to reverese you and take your back. Rule Numbero Uno when fighitng a wrestler, never, ever, give them your back. Diego took Karo's back at least 4 times, twice after he was on his back! How on earth do you allow that to happen. The sad thing is Diego is no Hughes, no Sherk, no Kos. I could understood if that happened with one of them, they are all top of the line wrestlers. But Sanchez was a state champion in a state that is not known for its Wrestling. If this fight happened again, I think it would be just as close, and just as exicting. But no way in hell would Karo dominate Diego.

It wasnt a striaght shot to the eye either, it was an upper cut that landed right under his eye and cut him that caused the problems.

Karo lost cuz he was rocking that Armenian belly. Im Armenian and i know that our culture loves to eat :lmfao: he needs better conditioning.
