I agree with Dana, and it applies to this site as well. 1 year ago the Pride elitists were here en-masse, constantly putting down the UFC and their fighters.

I always thought Pride fighters were not some superior beings compared to UFC fighters. But still people went on and on about how all the top fighters were in the Pride hands down.

Unfortunetly for the Pride elites, the Pride fighters seem to have been listening and believing that biased hype.

Shogun, Cro Cop, Fujita, Gomi, Aurellio, Werdum..all have now tasted defeat to the hands of a UFC fighter. I am in total shock as I too thought these guys would dominate.

Next to be exposed, the entire Pride Lightweight Division that held the top 10 for so long. I have said over and over that this division is the easiest for the UFC to expose.

I'm actually a big Dana White Fan. I'm in the entertainment business, and I know what it takes in this game to get to his level. However, this is where I completely disagree. UFC and MMA in general is successful in large part to these crappy internet sites. It wouldn't have grown so quickly without the cyber world word of fingers so to speak. It's like when people affiliated with the NFL bash Fantasy football people. Dana, step back, calm down and realize without us "idiots" the UFC and MMA in general wouldn't be as popular as it is. We buy every pay per view, even the crappy ones.

Well it seems that this is how the new generation of fighters make their way up...they begin to step up and take out the whos who. I guess its great because we cant expect to have the big names like Shogun, Liddell, Cro Cop, etc to stay at the very top for very long. Its just the way it is. And uhh seeing how these Pride fighters arent having much luck in the octagon...i wouldn't mind seeing seeing how Fedor will end up...Couture dismantling Fedor would make a nice headline wouldn't you say ? :grinsmile26:
