Babalu has to tighten up his striking to beat Chuck, and his Muay Thai is good enough to where he can move the fight around, and if he pressures Chuck, he can look for the takedown. if he comes with the right game, he can win. takedown ability doesnt really mean shit on Chuck. Randy couldn't do it right off the bat, he had to beat chuck down.
getting Chuck down means you beat him on the feet like Rampage and Randy, push him against a corner of the ring or cage, and then explode for the takedownt. if Babalu can keep Chuck pressed on the cage, he'll find a sub somewhere.
Chucks' striking and his TD defense is not in question, it's simply whether he brings his A game against Babalu. the first time they fought, he was getting the contendership, and he was hungry for that shot. Babalu is in the same place, and i believe that unless Chuck brings all that he's got, Babalu will take it. winning number one don't mean shit, it's the fight you have ahead, not the one in the past. everyone said Arlovski had Sylvia's number but Tim came back and won twice. Randy was the best in the UFC but Chuck came back and took it.
everyone saying it's crazy to say Babalu can win is a fucking idiot. i absolutely mean to be a dick with that, because to simply discount any top 5 LHW in any match is fucking stupid.

This card is not as bad as people say it is
-Babalu and chuck could potentially become a great match up and I think it already is
-griffin and bonnar..come on tell me you don't want to see this rematch
-diaz is now fighting neer, that should be a sweet match up, two cazy SOB's in a octagon together
-franca fighting should be good to watch
-and we get to see kongo in his live debut
I think this PPV will surprise everyone...just my opinion

Yeah I'm not saying Sobral isn't any good, I'm just questioning the hype behind him being a contender when most people would place in the lower 1/2 of a top 10 ranking. He's got a shot Only if Chuck isn't hungry and dosent bring his prementioned A game. I definatly think he will try as much striking as he can take, just to try to catch The Ice man off balance an jump on his leg like a horny dog.... Should be better fight than their last meeting.... but I still see a later round KO, unless Sobral has found a new stand up fight game

All in good natured fun of course. How does that sound? |
Hey, you have a bet! All in good natured fun, no doubt. I'm definitely not here to make enemies. IMO Chuck should win this fight. Obviously, you must think Babalu will win.....and its possible he will. I'm a man of my word so if Chuck loses I'll get to embarass myself a little bit. Its good for me |

i think chuck will win but if any of you guys watched all access last night with babalu he sounds fucking wild hungry he said he watches the fight where chuck kicked him in the face every morning and also said he thinks of it all the time and wants to get in there and kill him at one point i think it'll be a good fight as long as babalu doesnt go in there and all of a sudden let four years of built up aggression out and get knocked the fuck out fast because if anyone can knock him out its chuck but he does stand a great chance and sounds very hungry but i still pick chuck

Babalu is a dangerous mofo. He can beat anyone. Ask Shogun. This fight can go either way, and I can't wait to see it.

if Chuck doesnt KO Babalu early.. and it goes to lets say the 4th round, I predict Babalu putting him on his back and finishing the fight by submission but hes gotta weather the storm, the key to beating Chuck is strategy.
