I ordered the PPV, bought the DVD a couple of months ago for $19 at Best Buy. It's a solid card. I love the Gomi/Pulver and Hunt/Silva matches. Gracie/Anjo is a good rivalry match. Silva/Chonan has a great ending. Couple of the other matches are worth watching as well. All in all it was a pretty good event. If you aren't poor then it was worth it.

Shockwave 04 was a real good show & the DVD is excellent too, some great matches on it(already mentioned).

28 Canadian is about 25 USD

Shockwave DVD's are usually more expensive over here than the usual cards such as Pride 29 etc. I've no idea why, but Pride29 cost £14 ($26US/29C) whereas Shockwave 04 costs £18 ($33US/ 38C).

Thanks for all the input guys. Well Tapper my buddy orders all the UFC's at his house and we all chip in equal amounts to cover it. He's got a 60 inch TV so it's well worth it . The problem is only like 1 of my friends is really into Pride fighting like me so it's difficult to find others really into it. Around here if someone likes MMA that means they like UFC lol. It's an impossible argument with most of my friends when I tell them Fedor is the Pound 4 Pound best in MMA lol.

BTW Ninja we don't have Best Buy here, the only places you can buy MMA DVDs is Music World (generally more expensive) or CD Plus. Oh yeah and we have an HMV now but I'm not 100% sure on their prices. lol.

blah blah blah what ever. im not poor, i just know a pirate, i can usually get the ppv the day after 1 week tops for 5 bucks pride, ufc, and k1. my canadian to american dollar onversion was backwards sorry but still, 25$ american for a 2 year old ppv is crazy, go to a flea market, you might be pleasently surprised.

Jeez Tapper don't take it so personally lol. I have days and days of MMA on my PC but once in a while I like to support the business ($) lol. Oh and to answer one of your previous questions about what province I'm in, I live in New Brunswick.

I enjoy watching my Pride DVDs on my big screen. I don't like to have my friends huddle around a computer to watch fights. Nothing wrong with paying a few bucks for DVDs. $25 isn't much IMO

30$ here for the big PPVs on DVD. Most you can get for 20$ or so. Tapper I think I might check out some Flea markets too. My one friend whos into Pride bought Pride 1-20 and is gonna lend it to me .
