Thoughts/Opinions on Shockwave 2004
 

I just bought it and haven't watched it yet so please don't tell me who wins any of the fights please. I just was wondering if it's worth the 27.99 plus tax (canadian:D) I spent on it?

Do you not like Pride or have you seen the event and didn't like it?

of course i like pride and have seen the event, i just think thats too much cash for 2 year old ppv. you could have seen all the matches on the internet burn'em to a cd and bam, save 30 bucks. im canadian as well where did u buy it?.

Yeah, well I got tired of looking for the matches lol. I usually do that but I'd rather just go buy it and get all the little extras with it. I got it at CD Plus. They're available at all the CD/DVD stores around here tho.

which province city town do you live in? is there no pirates in your town. i know you have to spend money to keep the sport alive, but that can get expensive in a hurry, between all the different organizations you could be spending 40 bucks every 2 weeks. when i think that their is a good ppv i buy it for home, but the next ppv ufc 62 dont look too good, so i will either watch it a bar or buy it from a pirate. something to consider, unless you make good money, which i dont.(damn women)

I think the Fedor vs. Nog match is the best match outta their trilogy of matches they have had together. The WAnd vs. Hunt match is incredible. The Ryan Gracie match is pretty funny as well. Is it worth getting? Hell yes, and if you are a fan of Pride or new to Pride like I was, this is great dvd to own. I can't debate about the price because I spent a hundred bucks a week ago for the Pride/K-1 Dynamite dvd.

does anyone know how much that is in american?

it would be less not more wouldn't it?I thought for sure the American dollar is worth more than the Canadian dollar.
