what would tito really be risking with fighting shamrock a month before tito??? it would probably be a quick sparring match anyway!! I do agree with you though. Tito could possibly have an injury from fighting shamrock that would keep him out of the fight with lidell but it would be doubtful. I hope Dana doesn't announce the fight on friday only to pull it a week later. The fans are getting tired of not following through (although I don't think its all UFC's fault).

But on a personal note id like to see him fight SOMEONE ranked, I mean shit this is getting kinda pathetic beating up on old Shammy and a Tuffer(still questionable) makes him number #1 contender? NO. :banghead: |
MMAWeekly has this fight in the rumors section as possibly taking place on Feb 3rd at UFC 67. But, if Wand is out, Chuck will definitely fight before 67 and would need an opponent. Tito has been a posterboy for UFC recently and I think Dana knows he is making him more money than most. I think Tito actually showed a tremendous amount of class in TUF 3 series. I was kinda surprised at how well he bonded and trained his team. Love him or hate him, Tito brings in the buys. Why not make this fight happen? Until Dana gets more competition in the LHW division Tito is really the only other guy that would be a big seller. Imagine the difference in buys for the 62 card to the amount of buys for any card with Lidell vs. Ortiz 2. Even though Babalu is DEFINITELY the more deserving opponent, I would say that Lidell-ortiz 2 would bring in twice as many buys.

So when Chuck KO's him again which excuse will he and all his nuthuggers use then? I suppose he'll be injured or Chuck poked him in the eye again or how bout bad game plan?
Man every one of Tito's fights that he doesn't dominate all we hear is excuses. I remember before the Forrest fight he said he was injury free, then after the fight he all of the sudden was only at 60%. Give me a break! I hope they do feed Tito to Chuck again just so everybody sees that Chuck is the best LHW in the UFC.
Chuck is a better striker, he's a better wrestler, he has the best take down defence in the business, he hasn't gassed since 2003 and that was in Pride where they have 10 minute rounds that he obviously didn't train properly for, so I'm failing to see how Tito has an edge on Chuck at all.
For those that have been on here saying Chuck gasses please show me evidence other than the Rampage fight which I already stated was 3 years ago in a differently formatted fight.
What advantage does Tito have over Chuck?

If we don't have to sit throught Ken/Tito III then I am all for this. Then we can have a real main event for the October UFN.

The Jeremy Horn fight from UFC 54 that I watched on PPV you mean I assume the one that Chuck beat the ever loving piss out of Jeremy in correct? Show me a LHW anywhere that stands and strikes for 20 minutes and does not tire out please. I'm begging ya!
How do you figure he was tired in the White fight? Because he was breathing heavy? Imagine that a fighter breathing heavy during a tough fight....
So let me get this straight you think Tito's way to win is to avoid Chuck for 5 rounds? Because he can't strike with Chuck as we saw at UFC 47, he's not a better wrestler or submission guy, so his only way of victory is via decision. So by that logic Chuck would have to also stay away from Tito for 5 rounds which will not happen.
Once again I will ask what advantage does Tito have over Chuck?
Oh and by the way there's a spell checker option you may want to use so I don't have to take 5 minutes to decipher your posts.
