its funny that you actually believe that tito would dominate him the whole match if they had a rematch. you do not give forrest enough credit at all. this kid can go. round 1 was dominated by tito but you can contribute some of that to forrest comin out nervous. you can tell by his whole demeanor that he wasnt settled and nervous in a second fight hed def be more chill and relaxed.
in the next 2 rounds tito couldnt do anything. tito did score that takedown at the end of round 3 but forrest was back on his feet farily quickly. and forrest was the one who did more durin that takedown, fightin from his back landin those elbows/punches to titos head and side of his face. even the announcers brought it up and also said something to the effect that while forrest seems to be doin more damage the judges dont see this and take it into consideration so basically they were sayin that the takedown by tito is what counted and all the judges see when in reality it didnt do much of anything.
now im not out here sayin that forrest would dominate tito in a rematch or that he would even win all im sayin is that i think you are way too high on tito and are just brushin off griffin as some punk who doesnt belong in the octagon.
a rematch would def help settle some things and make many ppl realize this

Round 1 was a 10-8 round for sure......so this should end the debate about whether Tito "actually" won or whether he was gift wrapped a decision, like some on here would have us believe. | I don't think you ended any debate...i think you brought it back lol

They were love taps that wouldnt have killed a mosquito. Stephan was just praying that Forrest won because, like Forrest, Stephan is a reality tv fighter. I understand why people get excited about Forrest...he's simply exciting at times and you know he wont go out and dance around in a circle for 2 minutes. But honestly, he isnt very skilled and he has a lot to learn if he hopes to remain in the UFC and challenge for a belt some day. Right now, he has a puncher's chance, but that's about it.

First off, Tito and Forrest are two of my favorite fighters. Forrest always has exicting matches and never backs down from anyone. He said it himself, he may not be the prettest fighter but he sure makes it interesting. And Tito just adds that extra to flavor to every match with his intesinty(sp?) and his trash talking. All that being said, I still can't understand how this fight ended in a split desicion. I didn't see the fight live so I had to wait until this unleashed to watch it. And there is no question in my mind that Tito won that fight. We won Rd. 1 10-8, and he won Rd 3 10-9. Forrest won the second rd for sure. I would love to see these two get back in the ring, just because I think both wanna prove something from the first fight. In a second fight with a 100% Tito I dont see Forrest winning at all. But I think it would still be a rather exiciting fight.
