Next Heavyweight Title Defense for Sylvia? Who do y'all think it should be? I'd go with either: Monson or Mir (if he can get back in shape) or maybe even a stretch...Imes (good big man vs big man matchup) or Jardine (if he bumped back up to heavyweight). Monson would have a hard time since he's the shortest guy in the whole heavyweight division. I just hope Sylvia loses it. He's a lazy fighter who just takes advantage of his size instead of working. |
i wanna see: Sylvia vs Monson and Arlovski vs Mir (winner faces winner of above match) |
you cant say the guy wins because of his reach...he beat Arlovski twice some one who fights him need to say fuck the reach grow a set of balls take him down and summit him...he got a good chin we all know that but his submission defense is lacluster.... when Vera gets his shot he will show how weak the heavyweight divison is in UFC not knocking an of the fighters. But when you make a list of the top 5 there is actually only like a top 3. |
Currently I think there are only two real choices, Monson and Vera. Vera is still probably a little to young (Icould be wrong), but Mir? Hello no, he needs to prove himself, and be dominant again for a few fights. Who else could you seriously consider at this point? Sylvia may be looking at a Liddell type of lay of while they build someone up. |
why not Fedor Emelianenko. Sylvia did say he's "a little shit". So why not, Pride should take advantage with their fighter. |
Vera is right up there, i see him fighting ether mir, sylvia, monson, or AA |
Monson's the number one contender. After that fight the winner of Vera/Mir will be the number one contender. |

BRANDON "THE TRUTH" VERA should be next in line for a shot at the belt. He is 17-0 overall and 3-0 in the UFC. hes beat Assuerio Silva and Justin Eilers both in the 1st round. |
