No he didn't, it will happen again. I like the UFC, but Dana White is fast becoming the Don King of MMA, and I do not mean that in any positive way.

What else has he talked about but not delivered on? He brought back the LW division for us. He brought back Penn. With the exception of this news, I have been pretty happy about what Mr. White has done for us (the fans) and the UFC.

This is typical Pride, didn't they offer to send some fighters over a few years ago in exchange for Liddell and others going there to compete? Then they backed out. If you have confidence in your fighters, you allow them to compete against the best. If not, you shelter them. Just seems to be a business ploy on Pride's part to try and damage UFC's image before their own show. Look for UFC to move toward more Brazilian fighters and some European venues, to counter the Pride influence.

People know who Silva is now, the following day after UDC 61 UFC internet searches went up around 60% and Wandy's went up over 400% so people were very interested in who he was so people are aware of who he is now.

Silva nor Pride are worried about a loss, Silva fought Cro Cop and Hunt, nietherof which KO's him and he was robben of the victory in the Hunt fight, Chuck would not last 5 minutes with either of those guys, sorry.

Wandy has never been KO'ed and has been hit by harder punches than Chuck can deliver, cardio=Silva, power=equal, standup=Silva, ground=Silva, Quckness=Silva, Age=Silva. Chuck has no advantage in the fight, Wandy is not going to take Chuck to the ground unless Chuck is hurt in which case Chuck will NOT be wall shimmying back up.

UFC backed out of this fight likely due to them wanting a 3 fight contract becasue they want a chance to reddem their loss. UFC wanting a 3 fight contract does not sound like an organization that is confident in their champion.

It really is a shame. The problem is that both of these presidents have egos the size of the Osaka Dome and niether are willing to budge as in their minds, they both hold the chips.
