MayB I'm wrong but I thought Jardine only made $7,000 for the fight w/ Chuck, not $30,000

Although there were some really small payouts, some of them were very comparable to the UFC's and even a little better, such as Puder,Vitale,Thomson,Riggs,Jackson,& Melendez. What's up w/ that?????

Gilbert Melendez was the only top 10 fighter there that night, the rest were kinda "B" fighters.

Can you please show me the numbers that prove the UFC is RAKING it in? What are there medical expenses after every event? What is there expence for hotel rooms? What is there expence for the areana to hold the event? How much of the 40$ a PPV does PPV take? How much does there support staff take? How much do they spend on advertising, marketing etc...? How much debt do they have as a company from when they bought the UFC?

My point is, there are just to many unknown factors in there profit. The UFC is trying to make themselves bigger, and that takes money. We can not make generalizations that they are "raking" it in when we do not have enough information to actually know that they are.

Don't get me wrong, I am sure that Zuffa the zuffa exec's are making money; but UFC as a whole might not ba making all that much. Yes, the lower tier fightiers should be getting paid more, but that will come with time. You can't compare the UFC to NBA, MLB or the NFL. Those sports have been around for MANY years while the UFC is still in the infancy of there time. Compare the pay the fightiers are getting now to what they were getting ten years ago (I havn't done this and dont no where to get the numbers) but I am sure you will see that the pay scale was MUCH lower then.

As the sport grows, the fightiers will get more money from the UFC directly and from there many sponsorships.

*Tick's cliffnotes* There are to many unknown factors to correctly evaluate if the UFC is making a fortune. Fightiers will make more money as the sport ages, as can probable be seen by comparing now to a decade ago.
*end Tick's cliffnotes*
