Default RUMOUR: Babalu signs with Hardcore Championship Fighting

ok, i just read this on MMAOnTap and its from GracieMag, two credible sources, but i put rumour just to be on the safe side. i suppose both contracts could be non-exclusive. hopefully this means we'll be seeing him fight sooner than we thought.

Hardcore Championship Fighting has been on a tear lately signing the likes of Renato “Babalu” Sobral, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Aleksander Emelianenko, and Dan Bobish.

anyone got anything confirming or denying?

I wonder if HFC has pockets deep enough to maintain this. They wouldn't be the first organization to buy more than they could afford and go under as a result.

yeah, i kinda smell WFA 2.0. they gotta be paying him a decent amount b/c babalu said on sherdog that Stirkeforce was paying him significantly more than UFC did and he made a decent amount in UFC. it only makes sense that HFC would pay him at least close to the same amount as SF. i'd love to see him fight lil nog there in december

Lil Nog vs. Babalu would be a great fight. At least he would have someone worthwhile to fight HCF with Nog being there. In Strikeforce all he has to look forward to is going against Southworth.

I dunno, I'd think anyone would be able to appreciate knocking out Southworth.
