Who do you think will be the next LHW champion? I am thinking Renato.

I dont see Vera droping down.. and i dont see anyone in the UFC to fight LHW so I dont think there is anyone capable besides him to beat Chuck in that weightclass.. They are gonna have to offer that Kid alot of MONEY to get him to drop to 205... I dont think theres anyone in HW that can match up to his Mind game nor his ability right now.. Hes the FUTURE of UFC... If the UFC would talk Frank Shamrock into fighting UFC and to go up to 205 but these are highly unlikely. So I dont see a new LHW champion being crowned for alteast another 2 yrs.....

realistically i would say Babalu is the only one in the weight class that has the tools to beat Chuck. I say this because he is up next, so im speaking about the upcoming few events here.

I say The Iceman keeps it for a while. I don't see anyone taking it from him, although he certainly does have some legit challenges ahead of him.

Babalu is the next champ

I don't see Babalu taking it from Liddell. After him, there's really no one until UFC forks out some dough and gets some real challengers for him. He should be able to pretty much handle Ortiz, Forrest, Bonnar, etc. I don't know who's out there for him.

There are rumors going around that if Babalu wins the match,it will immidiately set for a rubber match 2 UFC ppv later like with AA/Silviya. another rumor is that if chuck wins he will face tito. if renato wins the rubber match he will face either forest or tito, but then again these are all rumors.

I agree Submission. Pretty sure if Babalu won they would set up the rubbermatch very quickly, it would be a huge money fight. They would want to prove that it wasn't a fluke. I give Babalu a chance, he is much improved since their 1st fight as is Chuck. Babalu must get it to the ground though to win. Chuck will most likely retain the title though. Beyond Babalu I don't see anyone that can take Chuck in the LHW division.
