First of all i already said i put the champions on top because they were the current champions, that's the only reason Tim is where he is, not because i think he's better than the others below him obviously.
steelebone- Try actually debating them, saying they suck doesn't make any point in a debate for a rankings list.
Izzy- I believe Marquardt is that talented. One could argue some guys over him, like Silva, Loiseau, or Kang. I put him there because Loiseau just lost to the champ in dominating fashion, depending on their next fights Silva could pass him obviously if he beats Rich. Marquardt did beat a highly ranked at the time, Ivan Salaverry. Maybe not dominating but he won. Denis Kang will probably shoot up my list after his next showing if he stays as dominant. He owned Ninja in quick fashion and subbed Weir, so he's on the right track. Marquardt could cement his status on my list if he has a stellar year but he needs to start fighting higher opposition and more constantly.
Ortiz#1- I already explained my champion thing above. The reason i have Chuck above Silva is because Silva lost to Arona (barely beat him the 2nd fight) and Hunt (yea i know it was at heavyweight) while Chuck is on a 5 fight win streak you can't argue with because he ko'd all of them. Just because you might think Silva can beat Chuck doesn't mean he should be ranked above him, Chuck's been more successful right now. And if you say it's too early to have Forrest on, who would you put at #10, everyone you mentioned i have well ahead of him except Tito (#9) because he hasn't been active enough and barely escaped a close decision to Forrest.
These rankings change every couple of months and sometimes dramatically depending on what happens, but that's my explaination of those from early July, feel free to debate them with me but keep in mind a few events have past since then.

I thought those lists were alright.I'd make a few changes ,but they were pretty good.I'd make a few changes at LW.
Even a month ago I wouldn't put Yves in the top ten.Everyone acts like he was the uncrowned LW champ of the UFC.My question is why?He landed a beautiful head kick to Josh Thomson after getting beat dare say dominated by him in that fight and everyone acts like he was the best in the UFC.I'd put Sherk,Kenflo,Stevenson,Pulver,Hominick, and others in the UFC LW division above him.
Also I'd make some changes at MW ,but everyones MW is different. It's kind of a wide open division.

| Thanks Mr. Cruz
Thanks for answering my question. I hope Marquardt is able to show some of that talent soon, to me he seemed a lil gun shy, but that could be just fighting a smart fight. Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the input. | No problem, a rankings debate is always fun because almost no one would have an exact copy of someone else so there's always room to explain why yours is like it is and have someone tell you why they have theirs like they do.

He just dropped to LW and is fightless, it is assinine to rank someone before they fight at that weight class as we don't know how "awesome" he is yet though hopes are certainly high for him.
Arlovski dropped in rankings, certainly Barnett is the #4 HW in the world (though you are putting the champs at the top so Barnett should move to 5).
Forrest has not earned top 10 yet, he would get raped by Nakamura so I would put Nak at #10. Chuck not #1, #3 sounds about right though I am not sure he would beat Arona but #3 behind Shogun sounds close.
MW Hendo has to be #1 as he is undefeated in his Weight class and Franklin is not in addition to the fact that Hendo's competition is hands down more difficult. He has wins over the #2 ranked HW in the world Big Nog, Babalu, Nakamura, Ninja and Bustamante x2.
I really don't see how there's any valid arguement as to which should be the #1 ranked MW.

I would also rank Sergei Kharitonov higher than #8 (switch him with Werdun), remove Vera, place Hunt at #9 and AA at #10.

Sherk is not on the list because he was in between WW and LW so i didn't put him at either, if he was at either he would definately be on my list but until he actually fights at LW i can't.
