People keep on saying Royce and Ken are soooo old. Yes they are old, and their reflexes and explosiveness is inferior to most fighters. But I just want to say I saw Skip Hall fight in the WFC at the Budweiser Events Center a couple of months ago. Skip Hall is over 60 years old. I saw him fight this kid with like 15 fights under his belt, and Skip BEAT THE SHIT out of this kid. He never stood a chance. Skip dominated the whole fight. That's a guy over 60 years old!! I think with the proper training Gracie stood as good a chance as anyone against Matt Hughes. I'm still glad Matt won! But you guys gotta give these older fighters some credit.

Well, I've never heard of Skip, and veteran or not, it doesn't make you a good fighter. You can't compare that match to Royce/Hughes. I doubt Skip could handle going three five minute rounds if he really is sixty years old.

Royce isnt THAT old nor is Ken but washed up is washed up, Ken is washed up and the verdict is still out on Royce.

Not everyone can age as well as Randy and Chuck. Put Skip Hall against a top MMA fighter and he wouldn't make it out alive.

Age isn't why Hughes beat Royce. It is because Hughes is a much better athlete and well rounded Mixed Martial Arist.
