Both matches have the potential to push Kos in different directions, and showcase what, if anything he learned in his loss to GSP.

see ive always believed that Serra should not be ranked #1 despite beating GSP. Forrest beat Shogun and is not ranked #1, why is Serra?

Serra is an awesome fighter with a lot of heart, but still not the best in the world. i do feel he'll beat Hughes though, by submission and despite TUF 6 ruining the rest of the division, its still setting up this fight perfectly and making me want to see it more and more...f*ck i hope one of them doesnt get injured! LOL

I agree 100% Serra being ranked #1 for beating GSP is a shame. The messed up part is, I used to like Matt Hughes. Then I turned on him and didn't like him. Now, Serra is making me have such a strong, extreme dislike of him, that I find myself cheering for Matt Hughes again. I really don't like Serra, and its a shame we have to wait so long for him to fall back out of the spotlight.

I would love to see Fitch vs GSP.

GSP for once wouldnt be the bigger stronger fighter.

Fitch good wrestler, good bjj, good striking. Fitch an GSP actually match up perfect.

I think Fitch is top 3 ww in the ufc. I think actually he is top 2. I think Fitch beats Hughes. Fitch vs Hughes imo Fitch would finish Hughes. I mean Fitch is bigger, stronger if not stronger just as strong, better bjj, just as good of wrestler and a way better striker.

Call me crazy but i am a Fitch nut hugger lol

I like Kos vs. Karo or loser of the Serra/ Hughes fight. Kos and Fitch have both said they would absolutely not fight each other under any circumstances. Fitch would kill him.

No way.....

If the GSP who fought Kos showed up Fitch would get decked, standing and on the ground. I don't think anyone @ 170 can hang with a focused GSP.

Not to mention, that is the biggest, strongest looking GSP I have ever seen. He looked to have added a good 5 lbs of ripped muscle in each leg.
Im not sure how training with Jacksons camp has impacted his skillset (although it sounds like he got some instant coaching for how to sink in a Kimura), but for strength, conditioning and most likely cutting down to weight, the changes look to be very positive.

For 95% of that fight he out-muscled Kos. Everyone said that wasnt supposed to happen, but he was noticeably faster and stronger with very few exceptions.
