| hughes as an announcer
with "walking away" in his plans, how do you see his role in mma continuing? i think it would be a waste if he doesn't work with the ufc in some capacity anymore. him and bas and rogan might be a pretty interesting team.

Well, it sounds pretty evident that he is starting his own school. He will probably devote all of his time to that and getting it going. I don't see him being an announcer though.

I think Hughes is content just running his own school and being able to be at home more often to work on the family farm.

i think hughes needs to sit back, work the farm, and get his shit togethar. after hearing himself go on and on about being like a caregiving 'queen' in the bible iam thinking A) give this dude some zanax and let him grow corn B) hes been tapped so many times that he is living full time in fucking lala land C) he shakes this shit and get back to fighting. If he wants to really provide for his family hes going to need more than a few million in todays market. practical correlations can be drawn between the housing market and unpredictable fluctuations in the global economy that would suggest to really be 'secure' in tomorrows american economy will need a bit of luck and some sound investments and steady income. since hughes is just wealthy enough now, hes not eligible for those cool progressive farming programs the government offers to low income farmers. ergo, he will not get a substantial tax break and will have to pay FULL taxes on the land that he ownes. factor in the costs of taking care of all that fucking land and equipment (this dude could really benefit from reading Tolstoy's "How much land does a man need?) and the costs of having all of those fucking children (1,2, or 3 maybe, but 4 wtf dude adopt) and hughes is broke. he should earn as long as he can. whata a stupid moron who cant see past his childhood fantasies of having a 'farm'. hes reminds me alot of what we know about michael jackson's personal life.

Im sure hes going to go broke real quick running his school. I bet greg jackson and pat miletich are on public assitance. Speaking of Zanax, i think you could use somethin to calm yourself down. I cant imagine someone else's desicion to raise a family and own a farm ever piss me off like it seems to you. Pretty funny actually.

I don't see Hughes as an announcer and I don't see him leaving after 2-3 fights if hes the champ and winning, his ego is to big to walk away I think.

Hughes would suck balls as an announcer. He has little respect for guys that were not "wrestlers". I've heard him give analysis on other peoples fights and it was disgusting. (I think that's where my distain for him began). Hughes may be knowledgable and respected, but as a broadcaster I doubt that he could offer anything to a fight other than a few boring quips about the advantages of a double leg over a single leg takedown.
