Tired of Diego Haters
 

Im starting to get tired of all the Diego Haters. What does Diego have to do to get respect as a fighter, bitch slap Fedor and screw him in the ass? I am not a Diego fan I could care less if he wins or loses, but I admit he is a good fighter. Its true he needs to work on his personality but fuck give the man a chance to develope one. Hate the man but at least give credit where credits do.

i agree deigo deserves his credit, he may not be the best fighter in the world but he is a good fighter give the man a break, somthing else i dont understand is what is it with everyone making out like Wanderlei "Axe Murderer" Silva is the greatest fighter in the world , Tito beat him , Vitor beat him , i mean i dont even like Chuck that much but if they fought i belive chuck would beat his ass, but hey thats me

Also loved that exchange. But yeah Diego doesnt get his due respect. Everone said Diaz is going to hand him his ass and the exact oppisite happened. Then everyone bitches about his fight with Jon Alessio. Hey Alessio has a great sprawl but just wouldnt fight. He just counter punched. Thus making the match a bit boring at times. Then most everyone is convinced that Karo is just going to man handle Diego. But Diego pulls off the win in what i think is the best match of the year thus far. Diego is a great fighter and should be givin his due respect.

I wasn't a fan of Diego really until the Karo fight. All his previous fights I thought he wasn't that impressive at all.

I wouldn't say I'm a Diego fan but I gained a lot of respect for him as a fighter. He deserves a title shot, there's not really anybody else that deserves one over him right now in the welterweight division, other then GSP.

diego is good, but he isnt ready for matt hughes..or st. pierre..or bj penn..he should keep working his stand up..maybe fight koscheck again

diaz will only get better, he has a bright future, and his attitude will only put asses in the seats, for one reason or another.

Diego Has given me 2 of my favorate fights in the past 2 years(Diego/Diaz Diego/Karo) so I will always hand it to him as a fighter. The first one I thought he would lose and the second one I though he would win. Diego is good and I see a bright future for him. DO I like him as a Person NO!!! do I think he has a chance aganst Baby J NO!!! But He does entertain me and I like to see his ground work. He needs a Pesonal development coach so he can work on his attitude. Thats all.

Indeed that is you... Yes we know Tito and Vitor beat him "BACK IN THE DAY", he has since become a world class fighter and the #1 ranked LHW in the world, make no mistake about it. The proof is in his PRIDE record, the fact that he went the distance with Cro Cop and earned a draw and he went the distance with Hunt and was robbed of the decision.

He has NEVER been KO'ed and as stated above has fought 2 of the best strikers in the world and arguably the #1 striker in the world of MMA (should be hands down as there really isn't a better striker than Cro Cop) so you can't base your assumption on his losses from back in UFC, those were a very long time ago, you must measure greatness in what he has since done and that is go undefeated in his weight class in PRIDE for 5 years, Chuck's accomplishments I'm sorry to tell you, hail in comparison.

Chuck would have a punchers chance at best, Silva is a cardio machine that can't be KO'ed, 5 x 5 minute rounds would equate to Chuck gassing in the 2nd-3rd round as there is just no way he would be able to keep pace with Silva, sorry man but it's true.
