I wonder did Marco Ruas compete in any of those tourneys, I think I remember him beating down a huge guy after breaking the guys feet with foot stomps. the King of the Streets was a bad dude.

yes he was victorious in an early UFC so he is not eligible for the list.

what if they were fighting during UFC 1-11 and didn't win a tournament during that time, but then won a tournament later in UFC weight class tournaments. Guy Mezger and Jerry Bohlander both entered during those UFC tournaments. Mezger won the UFC lightweight tournament at UFC 13 and Bohlnader won the lightweight tournament at UFC 12, and they both had fights during those first 11 UFC tournaments.

I'd say those two Lion's Den fighters were the best pound for pound out of all fighters that didn't win a UFC tournament during UFC 1-11. But Gary Goodridge is also one of the best. He KOed Oleg Taktarov and Don Frye later in his career, as well Valentijn Overeem and Andre Roberts

I gotta say Shamrock. And also (let's see if anyone remembers this one) Milton Bowens from UFC 1.

Actually I only mention him because at UFC 1, I was in high school in Miami and he was one of our security guards.

Goodridge Ko'ed Tactarov and Frye later in his career which was obviously laterin their career as well.

Fry was never the same fighter when he went from 205lbs to 225lbs, Goodridge never would've defeated Frye or Tactarov if all 3 were in their primes.

Bohlander one of the best Lions Den fighters, hardly.... He sucked pretty badly atually. Mezger, yes.

Pat Smith, Tank, Remco and Ken Shamrock would've absolutely owned Bohlander and they would've owned Mezger at that time as well though he did become a great fighter later on down the road but seriously man, Jerry Bohlander would've been KO'ed by Pat Smith and Tank, Ken would've knee bar'ed him and Remco would've put on a BJJ clinic as he was one of the only fighters in UFC whi knew BJJ back in 1994-1995.

LOL. He fought the cop (Steve Jenum I think) that "won" UFC 3 correct? I think he got beat with an arm lock in UFC 4 by the previously mentioned cop.

What about Andy Anderson? Owner of the all nude steakhouse in Texas.
