True. He had been fighting at WW and cut alot of weight on short notice. You could tell he was gassed early in the fight.

Spencer fisher only took the fight with 2 days notice and dropped 20 lbs within those 2 days to make weight. Quite a performance with all that in mind.

This is tough to set up a championship fight for an Interm Belt with no tourny, so many fighters right now can say they deserve a shot. Hominick, Florian, Steveinson, Franca, Gullibard(sp?) and Fisher are all coming off wins. Is it really fair to just put Sherk into the title match without him fighting a single fight at LW? It is obivouis he is a great fighter, but he should have to at least fight a match at LW before a title shot. Pulver is probably the only with a legit auto title match, seeing as how he was the last and only LW in the UFC.

I would like to see a mini tourny, Hominick vs. Sherk, Pulver vs. Florian, winners fight for the title. But that wont happen, what will happen is Sherk vs. Florian.

Looks good to me. Pulver never lost his belt so he should get the first shot for sure in my opinion and Sherk would be the perfect opponent. This would be a great fight.
