I'm going to throw a crazy name out there for a fight with Silva.

Martin Kampmann

He will need a "tester" fight or two after his successful knee surgery that made him back out of the Franklin fight in 72( http://mmajunkie.com/2007/09/17/mart...kiecom-update/ )
, but the dude is strong in a few aspects of his game ...particularly striking and submissions. He is currently training at the Extreme Couture gym. I've always liked this guy and I'd love to see him get a shot. He has as good a chance as any I think.

Not the sexy pick and some might think he is undersized, but I'd really like to see him advance in the division. I think he has the right mentality to be among the better fighters in the division.

the only way style fight that culd match-up with A. Silva's is a good wrestling background, he hasnt been tested by a good wrestler lately. Hes the best striker in all of mma, very very good jiu-jitsu, he is so lethal off his back, he tapped out a jiu jitsu practictioner when both of his knees were busted. Kampmann wuld only get dismantled, the ony two guy that i think pose a risk rite now are Okami and Hendo because of their wrestling abilities and strength. A. Silva is the new king of mma.

On the kampmann note, he is a great fighter, u seen that wen he arm traignled mcfedries. He has all the tools to hang with the MW elite but duznt have the tools to beat silva.

Hendo would not get KO'ed by Anderson. He's too strong and until the day comes that he actually gets KO'ed its foolish to assume someone much physically weaker than the fighters Hendo has recently tangled with could KO him.

He's eaten shots from Wandy, Rampage, Big Nog, and the list goes on...Silva is Muay Thai wiz but he can't crack like Rampage or Wandy....

I hate to do this because every fight is so different...But after seeing how easily Lutter took down Silva (and I know there were potentially circumstances with Silva's knee or some type of injury that may have played a role) I see no reason why Hendo couldn't take Silva down.... mount, and finish him. If they were to fight... Hendo would win by referee stoppage imo.

Also....Since Hendo is currently negotiating with Dana....After the results of this fight I could very easily see Dana convincing Hendo with the almighty $$$ that it would be worth his while to attempt to unify titles....Regardless of what he has said about not wanting to fight at 185....

But...If for some reason Hendo refueses to fight at 185....I would love to see GSP fight Silva. It's a shame Serra beat him...If GSP was still rolling there is no doubt they would be fighting...soon... The WW division is too deep though and GSP's not even on top of it...someday mayber they will fight though....

By no means do I think Dan is a bum. Dan tends to get wild with his striking and if that happend to Anderson I could easily see Anderson with a KO. Anderson doesnt get wild and pretty much lands everything he throws. I do think Dan could get him down but im not sure how much damage he could do on the ground. I have never seen silva fight past 20 mins though. I would love to see this fight.
