GSP is better in every aspect of the game IMO.
I think there are a lot of guys who would beat Hughes in the UFC. Karo, Kos, and Fitch would probably beat him. I also think that his fight with Serra will be a lot closer than most people think with Serra having a decent chance to win. Ultimately, I think Hughes wins that fight more often than he loses it but I think it's close.

GSP is a very good fighter but I think he can an will be beaten within the next year.
Serra - Knocked GSP out in their first fight, and by judging the Kos fight GSP learned nothing. In a rematch Serra can still knock out GSP again, an when the fight goes to the ground he couldn't even do anything to Kos so how am i suppose to believe that he can to Serra who has 20x the bjj that Koscheck does. In the rematch if GSP does not learn anything Serra will beat him again.
Hughes - GSP beat Hughes silly in their second fight. But in that rematch I do not recall Hughes trying for more then 1 take down an choose to stand an trade with GSP, big mistake for Hughes. In their 3rd fight if Hughes just goes for take down after take down, i believe Hughes can beat GSP. Thing is Hughes thinks he is a good striker an he might try to stand again an get knocked out. Their 3rd fight i give to GSP for the fact Hughes might come in stupid.
Fitch - I think Fitch beats GSP. Fitch is bigger then GSP, i can't stay stronger but willing to stay just as strong. Decent striker, good wrestling an a brown belt in bjj. GSP is used to fighting people he is alot bigger then well with Fitch that is not the case. I think Fitch beats GSP by decision.
Shields - I also think Shields beats GSP. Shields has good stand up, good wrestling an great bjj. Shields is also a strong guy, i mean he beat Okami who is a big strong mw, and went to a draw with Misaki. So i think Shields will beat GSP by decision.
Penn - I think Penn beat GSP the first time so no reason why i don't think Penn couldn't soundly beat him in a rematch. Penn works on his cardio a little more an i think he lays another beating on GSP like their first fight in the first round but i think this beating lasts the whole fight.
Anderson - GSP should stay far far far away from this guy. I like GSP so i do not want to see what Anderson will do to him. If they ever fought Anderson is bigger then GSP imo stronger, much much better stand up, kicks, MT, way better ground game. I don't think GSP can keep Anderson down. Anderson via ko at about 4 minutes into the first round.
GSP needs to stay at WW because their are a lot of challenges for him and a move to MW would be bad because he would no longer be the biggest or strongest, he would just be a little fish in a big pond.
I am not saying GSP is a can because i think these fighters can beat him. Sure he can beat all of them besides Anderson. But this is just my out look on the fights. | Nice to see that someone else hasn't bought the hype. The thing that kills me about GSP fans is that anytime someone says that he is not the hands down best WW on earth, they think he's being treated like a can.
Josh Koscheck didn't deserve to be in their with GSP. But I am just not impressed with the guys ability. He looks good when he wins, but there are 5 or 6 better BJJ guys in the division. 5 or 6 better wrestlers in the division. And 5 or 6 better strikers. GSP is the most "well-rounded" fighter in the UFC WW division. That certainly doesn't make him unbeatable.
And all this crap about St.Pierre being the only guy that could beat St.Pierre is an absolute load. Only a fool would think that if GSP's next 7 fights were (in order) Serra, Hughes, Penn, Fitch, Karo, Shields, Sanchez that he wouldn't have at least 2 losses in there.

and who are you to say gsp would have at least 2 losses if he fought those guys.
no1 here said hes the best fighter in the world but your talking down his skills big time.
and just for the record. its not "buying the hype" when a guy destroys the most dominant welterweight in history, beats bj penn and countless other quality opponents. that does not make him "hype". that makes him the real deal. i feel bad that you dont know the difference.
