2 rounds of 2 minutes each. I know everyone loves tournments and all, however if this is what kind of tournments we will have in the UFC i can go without them.

4 min fight and a 1 min rest period? if thats the case why didnt they just have one 5 min round?

i would've said three 3 min rounds

It is pointless, 2 rounds at 2 minutes each, the winner if he goes full rounds will have fought a total of 8 minutes, thats not even 2 full normal rounds.

Just my opinion but what do they think is going to happen in 2 minutes rounds.

I wonder if they ran into some trouble getting it sanctioned, or if the general fear of it being turned down led to short rounds. Disapointing regardless, though I doubt any of them would be able to do much against Frank.

I am somewhat lookin forward to this style of tourney, but it caters to people with bad conditioning/like to go balls to the walls, and the fighter in this tourney are technical that will take longer than 2 minutes. id love this style tourey but it should be in like cage rage or something and have like

This would be worth watching these guys come out bull style and just throw fistacuffs for 2 minutes

Technically speaking if the fight is still a draw after 2 rounds they go to a third round but still completely pointless and defeats the entire point of the tournament. They should just accept the fact that 1 night tournaments are a thing of the past and have had the tournament over 2 events.
