Fighting skills aside, Rich is one of the most marketable guys in North American MMA and constitutes a crown jewel star for any up and coming promotion, even after taking his lumps from Silva. So unless Rich opted to resign without really trying to gauge his free agent value, his agent will be fielding offers from EliteXC, Strikforce, HDnet, HCF, M-1 and every other North American promotion with money to spend. In the end I think Franklin's worth will be more in the range of a half million per fight, and it will come down to what Dana and the UFC thinks it will cost to let him go vs. the cost of keeping him.

As for Silva, he reportedly has one fight left on his deal, so expect to see him get a huge raise.
