Ace is very good but not the greatest. Remember when he was only an also ran at LHW. Mabey a change of camp, or at least some out of camp training could squeeze some more of his potential out.

Rich should drop Jorge Gurgel like a bad habit. He may be a great bjj trainer and a good friend, but that sure as hell doesn't mean he is the best at preparing Rich for his fights. I'd love to see Franklin move to Xtreme Couture, Greg Jackson's camp, or Juanito Ibarra's camp. Franklin has been and continues to be the best in his camp and won't get better if he stays there. I'm a huge Franlkin fan, but even I wasn't very confident Rich could beat Silva in their rematch because his training hadn't progressed from before.

Overrated? Nah ... just in a bad spot under 1 very bad dude, Anderson Silva. Franklin is still in top 5 for sure IMO so any fighter around those ranks shouldnt be called overrated. Franklin needs someone else to step in and dethrone A Silva if he hopes to get another title shot. I'd very much enjoy seeing a Henderson vs A Silva match but looks like the ball is mainly in Hendo's court should he decide to sign a new contract. Other options are bringing in Filho from WEC or even stretch out further and try to sign Lindland.

those wins are light years ago, and overeem would beat him now, imho. shogun is still kinda young, and wand takes on all comers, strikers, jj guys, wrestlers, heavy weights, theres no comparison there.

I'll side with most on here, and that is Rich isn't overrated, just not on, or even close to, Silva's level. Recently, nobody has been.
On a side note, and this has been bugging the hell out of me, but why the fuck did Rich keep looking up during the fight, specifically in the clinch? Was he looking at the clock, staring off into space, wtf? I was bombed during the PPV, but I remember him doing it quite a few times, even as early as middle of round 1. Anyone else catch it? Also, sorry if this was brought up already. If it was, I missed it.
