Default UFC and Organized Crime Ties?? You Tell Me..

The Hermes Franca fight, the one that had the biggest spread on it seemed to have been nearly altered in the outcome.

It seemed as though Mcarthy had instructions before the fight, that is the only way I can explain him stoping the fight immediately after that huge knee to deduct a point for stalling and Mcarthy ended up stalling on the point deduction for the fight stalling. I was thinking the entire time that that was an attempt to try and make the upset prevail as Hermes looked like he was trailing going into the 3rd round, it may have bee 1 round each or it may have been 1 round other guy and 1 round Franca in which case the upset was in route to take place.

Just my theory as I had not seen anything like that ever in MMA and it being the huge upset of the night had me thinking, someone important has a lot of money riding on this fight.

You're right on about how wierd that whole stoppage thing was. It wasn't just the stoppage and point deduction, but how long it took. Varner was rocked and it looked to me like Franca was about to finish him. Why the hell would John allow him to recover like that? Good thing that Franca won or shit would've hit the fan.

Organized crime ties??? Hell, I don't know. I would hate to believe it, but wouldn't be the first time I've been disappointed by someone's lack of integrity.

Hmm, is stoppage a word?

I would pay $39.95 to see you tell that bullshit to Big John's face...get real the guy was running away as fast as he could. He needed a point taken away.

I was questioning why he stopped it also when Varner was clearly hurt, then he took a long time so that was wrong. Yea points should be deducted for turning your back and running but that wasn't a good time for it. But i don't think John was doing anything 'mob' related or anything like that. lol Not that it helps much but he is a cop also. I just don't think he lacks intergrity like that. Just a mistake but at least the right guy still won.

How about Herb Dean in the Diaz and Neer fight?? Neer dropped his mouthpiece when it looked like he had Diaz in trouble and asked Herb to just let him put it back in without washing it, Herb didn't let him he had his corner clean it first. Then later in the fight Diaz had him in all kinds of trouble and he lost his mouthpiece again and Herb handed right to him without getting it cleaned and he was reluctant to take it. I thought that was funny of Herb, like he was almost fucking with him. lol

I didn't notice that, pretty funny. One of my guests last night wanted to talk more than watch the show. I'm going to have to watch my tape today to catch all the details.

Luis, is that your dog? You wouldn't do that to your little doggie, would you?

Yes that's my lil homie. It wasn't choking him, it fits just right. lol

I don't remember when it was in the fight so you'll have to rewatch it, but it was good anyways. I hate when people talk thru something, sometimes you just gotta tell them.

Wow this kid's such a fucking tool. Did you not see homeboy get crushed with a knee, stunned and dazed holding on for dear life and Mcarthy step in and take 60 seconds to deduct 1 point?

He was probably running becasue he was rocked eh fucktard? Would you not do the same to try and regain compasure or would you swing wildly like an idiot? No need to answer that, I already know...

Someone with Mcarthy's experience should know better than to pause the fight while someone is rocked as bad as the guy was just to deduct a point. Seems like UFC is trying to adopt Pride rules and replace the yellow card with a point deduction because I sure as hell don't remember Hominick being deducted any points for sprinting away from Grugel.

It's sad idiots like you are so ignorant you can't even begin to fathom foul play and the possibility of it. I'm a realist and have my own opinion, you just seem to follow everyone elses.
