Geez, no way that kid makes 155. Where does he go now? Keep making exciting fights and earning a living. The more he trains, the better he fights, the more cheddah he earns. He loves this shit. Beats landscaping.

Most of the guys I watched the PPV with were really impressed with the way Diaz popped over onto the other side to finish off that Kimura. Some of them had never seen it before. They all became Diaz fans. I like Diaz, but I thought this was a bad matchup for him. He took it to Neer. No way did I think he would DOMINATE. Diaz stepped the fuk up.

As young as Diaz is, it's not do or die for him right now. The UFC should just try and find fighters who matchup well with him and give him a chance to give us some more exciting fights before worrying about him being a contender again.

But ya him being 23 is good, cuz Matt wont be around forever and thats the only guy I think he has no chance of beating.. if he continues to improve he can fair against GSP or even Penn it just depends how how good he gets overtime cuz the potential is definently there.
Kenny didnt weigh 180 when he fought. He did the same thing Swick did. They didnt actually make it to the weight class they fought in, but they fought anyway because of the opportunity. And considering that muscle weighs more than fat, and a pound of muscle is smaller than a pound of fat, Diaz would be even more of a stick. I personally dont think he'll change weight classes but stranger things have happened.

Diaz impressed the hell out of me last night..........he showed all the promise from when he knocked Robbie Lawler out............

Is it just me or does it seem like Diaz's punches are so effortless with nothing on them.....but boy are they effective

That's what I thought the whole fight. Most of them look like arm punches, but with those 4 ounce gloves, they would def. hurt. Those arm punches score also. He really fought smart. His post fight comments about his previous 3 opponents counting off the takedowns in their heads so that they could score points made sense to him, so he decided to keep it standing most of the fight and count off his own punches to score.

I agree with everyone, Diaz looked very good last night. Definitely his best fight since the Lawler fight. I hope UFC brings him back soon, which I'm sure they will. Also he seemed alot more mature and composed in his post fight interview. Hopefully he continues this pattern.

His younger brother Nathan would be a great addition to the LW division also IMO. He's done well on smaller shows like Strikeforce and WEC. I wouldn't doubt that the UFC gives him a try sometime soon.

He lost 3 fights in a row to wrestlers, thats clearly his weakness.. at 170 he would have to face Matt Hughes, GSP, etc if he wants a belt I dont see him beating any of these guys

I think he can cut weight.. drop to 155 but it would take like half a year to do so and even then hes gotta face Sean Sherk, but they went to a close decision still a smaller Nick would prolly get beat by him but atleast he can face guys like Kenflo, Sam Stout and possibly beat them.. moving up might be an option but your gonna see some tough fighters at middleweight too.. so where does Nick go from here?
that would be tough the guy is 6 feet tall and not much on his frame all ready
