Ummm-yeah, no! Wandy has a better ground game than Chuck, but where you are wrong is that he can stand with him. In the cage his offensive repertoire of kicking, kneeing and stomping on people's heads when they are down isn't allowed.

Closer fight, maybee Wandy would win there. I do believe there is a homecourt advantage since the rules are so different. For example Chuck would kill Rampage in the octagon.

You are buying whatever UFC is selling, open your eyes man, there is a whole other world out there and it is called PRIDE. What doesn't chuck fight strikers?

When Chuck was defeated last what beat him? A wrestler but not with wrestling, thee strikes defeated Chuck.

You apparently did not catch the UFC preview for the card the night before with the fighter weigh ins and so forth?

It was pissing me off to hear Dana White act like such an ignorant ass hole and keep calling Chuck the best LHW in the world, he knows that's bullshit and so do avid MMA fans that watch both organizations.

Last striker Chcuk fought was Vernon WHite with his 24-27 record, gimme a fucking break. I don't buy this shit UFC tries to shovel.

I know Chuck is a world class fighter, there is no arguement so lets see him fight a world class striker. Wandy will melt him, Shogun will melt him, why is this so difficult to grasp? Striker with great takedown defense vs Wrestler=wrestler must become striker in the fight=KO. Striker with great takedown defense vs grappler=grappler must become striker=KO.

World class striker with great takedown defense vs world class striker with great takedowns=excellent fight and Wand an Shogun would be able to get the fight to the ground shuold they choose to as Chuck would have to watch for the strikes as Wand and Shogun have KO power whereas Tito, Randy and Babalu do not so he only has to watch out for the takedowns and the chances of a wrestler outstriking Chuck are slim and none (Randy managed but honestly that was a 1/100 chance as proven).

The above "theory" as you will likely call it was already proven by Rampage as he was able to outstrike Chuck so the takedowns were very easy Chuck was having to watch for huge looping punches and was wide open for the takedown.

How competitive is it for Chuck to KO wrestlers? Not very, he needs to fight a world class striker, unfortunately UFC has no others. Bisping is nowhere near ready and he is the 2nd best LHW striker so Chuck will hold the belt for a long time and with Dana spitting that ridiculous bullshit about Chuck being the best LHW in the world (he said the same thing about Rich Franklin) it is obvious he does not want Chuck to face the likes of Wand and Shogun, also the same reson he did not go after Lyoto or Melvin Manhoef because please, UFC could pick up Manoef as we speak but don't want another world class striker at LHW.

UFC keeps saying time and time again, Chuck is the most popular fighter in the UFC, blah blah, there is so much hype and responsibility riding on Chuck to retain his belt, that is why he is being fed wrestlers and grapplers and why Tito is fighting Chuck at UFC 65 and not Silva and is also the same reason Chuck tried to pawn off Wand as being an equal to Tito as he said, "I don't care who it is, either one" as Rogan brought up in the octagon after the fight.

Rogan knows what's up, he hinted so mant times last night about PRIDE. When someone was exposed for knees to the head Rogan said "that's where the knees come into play". He made several other comments towards Pride without ever saying Pride as he has been doing for the past few PPV's.

Rogan is an experienced MMA fan, he follows the sport, he knows Chuck needs to fight a striker, do you really think Dana White instructed Rogan to mention Wanderlei Silva's name in the octagon after the Babalu fight? Hell fuck no, Rogan did that on his own, he wants to see Chuck fight a striker and i'm sure he feels like most of the other avid MMA fans when UFC keeps making the claim that Chuck is the best LHW in the world.

Well my belief is you get more freedom as a fighter in Pride because I cant think of much thats illegal in pride thats legal in UFC, Pride just allows more.. correct me if im wrong so I believe Pride Rules are more of a test of whos the better fighter then UFC rules because you can knee and kick a downed opponent. Even so, Rampage didnt beat Chuck because of the Pride rules.. he beat Chuck cuz he took him down with ease and Chuck couldnt hurt Rampage so if that fight was in UFC at that time Rampage still woudld of won, but the slump Rampage is in now.. Chuck has to be the favorite. Im still going with Wand over Chuck though.

chuck's ground game is highly underated, he doesn't use it because he doesn't have to. that being said, i believe wandy could take chuck because wandy is fighting good strikers and beating them, while chuck is fighting good grapplers that are trying to be strikers. chuck hasn't faught good strikers like wandy has and because chuck wouldn't be used to having someone really strike with him while wandy is used to it i see wandy wining a fight between them.

Back then, Rampage would've done the same thing to Chuck in the octagon. Rampage is a heavy striker with excellent wrestling and wrestlers dominate the UFC for the most part but there are rare cases like chuk where wrestlers have trouble and that is due to his takedown defense however Chuck has never fought another wrestler with good striking like Rampage and no Randy was not a good striker, he was very fortunate to outstrike Chuck in the first fight.

Ramapge would've pinned Chuck against the cage after the takedown and pounded him out (like he did at the end of the 2nd round).

Cage or ring, at that point in time Rampage was ontop of his game and his game was better than Chuck's.

The fight might be differnt now but it is still a bad matchup for Chuck as Rampage has heavy hands, is a great wrestler, superior strength and an iron chin. It is a very even matchup and the key is STRIKING.

I know he has a ground game he was a wrestler first but im not saying Chucks ground game sucks im saying that these other fighters like Wandy's have way better ground games cuz they use it in a lot of fighters and there more then just wrestlers.

I agree 100%, you can tell Rogan is a true fan all you have to do is listen to his comments when Anderson Silva faught Chris Leben. Chuck is the face of the UFC, so Dana will do everything he can to make sure Chuck isn't put into a fight he would have trouble with.

and you can tell mike goldberg is a tool by listening to him!

damn I cant stand that guy, Rogan corrects him like 3-4 times a fight, he goes off on other topics sometimes, and he can talk some nonsense!
