Chuck i the number one lightheavyweight in the world, bar none. A fight with Wand would be great but other then Silva....who else could beat him? Vera would get knocked out and he isn't fight lightheavy anyway, after a rematch with Tito hopefully they'll bring in Rampage for a fight and a fight with Wand.

Liddell will lose when he just doesn't care anymore. Forest would be in over his head, Tito will still probably lose, Bisping might put on a descent fight, but will also probably lose. Arlovski should cut some weight and take him on; that would be a most likely unpredictable fight.  :banghead:

That is what Pride has and UFC has Tito, Forrest and Bisping and none of them would stand a chance against any of those 5 mentioned fighters (add Silva there's number 6 and there is no way Tito would be able to handle Silva like he did 6 years ago as obviously Silva is ontop of his game/THE game).

Igor hits hard but Chuck hits just as hard and a lot faster. They both have the punch that literally makes guys crumble under their own weight.
Oh, and I don't get how people are saying that Dana White wants to keep Chuck as a poster boy. He instigated the fight with Wand... And don't you think if someone came in and knocked Chuck the fuck out that he'd be the new guy that everyone loves? Chuck is popular, but the guy who knocks Chuck out is God, lets face it...
Put Chuck against Cro Cop... THAT would be a killer fight.

| I agree... And Chuck would die. Do you really think that would be a good fight? I honestly don't, Cro Cop is probably the most composed fighter in MMA along with Fedor and Cro Cop strikes faster and harder than Chuck, is one of the best counter punchers and is extremely hard to hit.
This would be a horrid matchup for Chuck. You are still basing your opinion of Chuck from watching him KO wrestlers and grapplers that were forced (because of the excellent takedown defense) to become strikers.
What striker has Chcuk faced in the past 4 years? Only 1 and that was Rampage who had a very well rounded game back then and we all saw how bad he raped Chuck. To have success against Chuck you need to be a good striker, if you also have a ground game as well then Chuck will be in trouble as wittnessed in the Rampage fight therefore Silva, Shogun, Arona, Little Nog and Igor would all give Chuck a world of trouble.
Key word is well rounded game and no one aside from Chuck in the UFC at LHW has that and is prime example of why Chuck is so dominant because of you can't inflict damage standing up he will continue to trade with you and you will get KO'ed.

even Rampage is a wreslter first, who just happens to know how to strike.. everyone else hes fought i'd honestly have to be in a real gracious mood to consider them good strikers.. except maybe Vitor.

Even though the people that Chuck fights aren't the best strikers, it doesn't mean they can't stand. The simple fact that Chuck runs through these people is an indication that he would still put up a fight when faced with a world class striker like Cro Cop or Shogun.
The Chuck that got maimed by Rampage is not the same Chuck today.
I don't know... There is no reason to start the my e-cock is bigger for Chuck because he HAS NOT FOUGHT ANY OF THESE PEOPLE yet, so there is no way to tell.
Bottom line: Chuck wouldn't get run through... You might actually see a fight that goes past the first round. Hopefully PRIDE and UFC can work something out so they can make this shit happen.
I got Cro Cop vs Wand on Sept 10th... Watch...

On the topic of Wanderlei vs Chuck and the whole Pride issue. What I don't understand is this. Didn't Zuffa pay Royce AND Pride an insanely large sum of money just for Royce to come and fight? Royce got like 400,000 for the fight and Pride ended up with something like 700,000 just off of the door.
I don't see Wanderlei/Chuck being as big of a draw outside of the hardcore MMA community, simply because alot of the TUFcrew just does not know who Wanderlei is, and what he is capable of doing in the ring/octagon.
So how in hell would Pride pull out due to monetary issues (at least thats whats being reported)? Let's say Zuffa pays out over a million to Pride to let their champ, the best in the world. Prove that he is in fact the best in the world. How is this not a win/win situation?
I just think their are other shenanigans floating around. Most likely some shady McMahon style business on Zuffas part. Think about it, they pay Wanderlei some money to show up at the PPV. Announce that their #1 guy, will fight Prides #1 guy, then all of a sudden Pride pulls out. Zuffa looks like the big dogs, and Wanderlei and Pride look weak.
He's turning this shit into an angle! I thought I stopped caring about those in the 80's?
