If that fight were still on, who would win? Any thoughts on Hughes vs Penn 2?

I truly believe GSP would have walked away with the title.

But Hughes wins the rematch against BJ.

I think St Pierre would have won but who knows? You know they will meet again in the future anyway and then we will know for sure. I am wondering what they will do if either Penn or Hughes wins their title fight?

Will they give George the shot at Penn if Penn is the champ?

Will they give him a shot at Hughes if Hughes defends his belt?

Or will they have George fight the loser for the number one contender spot that he has already earned?

Gotta think that as long as he's healthy he gets the next title shot regardless of who the champ is.

lol... for those of u who say penn will beat hughes dream on... hughes is much better than penn now and amazingly better since the first time they faught.. and the way penn looked vs gsp it would b over in the first early second at the latest..

but the topic being gsp vs hughes.. i take gsp. The first fight it was about even until st.pierre overcommited for a kimura (sp?) and got in one of the deepest arm bars ive ever seen.. but otherwise they were even (that far who knows what could ahv happened later) and GSP has gotten ALOT better since that fight.. he made sean sherk look like a little girl.. and after recovering from getting poked in the eye made penn look like nothing.. now people could be fooled into thinking that because of the gracie fight gsp has no chance but on the contrary gsp has a wrestling background and would not have been taken down taht easily.. and is MUCH better on his feet.. but who know hughes isnt the champ for nothing.. but id take St. Pierre if they faught... but penn should just go lightweight he has no chance imho cuz hughes has been salivating at the shot to redeem himself for that awful performance vs him the first time
