behind the times guys
Nike already sponsors Akiyama and Caol Uno. in Japan, Caol has his own shoe. its ugly as fuck. but he has his own pair of Nikes.
Akiyama had red Nike shorts on against Kang. they had the swoosh and even said Just Do It, gold lettering. cool shorts too.

Rampage has a shoe deal with Osiris (I believe). It's a skate shoe company.

Well I have tried, and failed, to sponsor two fighters. The first fighter to sponsor was Joe Lauzon and I was quoted $1500 for the spot under the belt on his shorts, as well as a spot on the tshirt he wears to the weigh ins/ring entrance/and if/when he wins. I was ready to go for that, but then his management team started to ignore me after I said I wanted to give him money.
The second fighter was Kalib Starnes and it was for a spot on his banner that got put up in the ring. If you look at his last fight against Belcher you can see a big ass banner held up behind him. You will also notice that Elevated Impact has two spots, mine was to be in the upper right, but Kalib's team deemed my fantasy MMA site a gambling site and since his company if funded by a gambling site it was a conflict of interest. The cost for that spot was $600 as it was a last minute thing. Normal cost is $1800-$2200 (least that is the quote they gave me for Chris Lytle and Karo's). Kalib complained about his paycheck but should complain about his management company refusing my money. Sure it was only $600 but still, elevated impact didn't pay extra for that 2nd spot.
Also when talking to the sponsoring company they said a lot of fighters get between $1000 and $2000 for ads on the shorts with win bonues. There is a conflict of interest if a fighter is sponsored by another nutrition/supplement company as the UFC is sponsored by xyience. Fighters with sponsors that conflict with Xyience can and will get penalized. Fighters can't shout out to sponsors when giving their thanks, especially to domain names from what I was told.

Are you sure about the Xyience thing, I see alot of fighters with sponsors from other supp companies and I know that GSP makes a ton of money off of his supp sponsors.
Either way I see that rule changing since Xyience has started not paying out to people.
And thanks for the info.

And thanks for the info. | Yeah I was specifically told about it because on Kalib's banner he had Hard Nutrition on it and if the UFC made him pull his banner then i would get my money back. UFC didn't make him pull his banner which means that they are either relaxing the rule abit, or that Xyience didn't pay them either :P

They probably have a contract with Xyience stating that they are the exclusive supplement sponsor, so a fighter being sponsored by a supp company is an iffy situation but as long as Xyience doesn't complain (they have no money so they can't complain about shit at the moment) then it's probably okay.

for a ufc fighter you will spend between 1-3 k for a average guy and for the bigger names Chuck/Randy/Rampage etc. you could spend 20-30 k for a spot on there shorts/shirt
