it would be a great fight IMO.
Randleman is much more explosive too, I would go with Randleman in that fight just because of the standup edge.. and I just cant picture Tito GnPing Randleman.. it be odd to see.

chuck will own tito just like before. Griffin had a fairly easy time in the 2nd and 3rd rounds of hitting tito and chuck is 10x the striker that forrest is. Chucks take down defense just gets better and better. And who has tito beat since he lost to chuck last time? a lucky win over forrest and 2 soon to be wins against an over the hill shamrock

i see him holding that belt for a while unless UFC brings someone in who can give him a real challange.

They will not do that and you can tell that they are trying to push for a Forrest vs Chuck fight as every Forrest fight they bring up Chuck. The only fighters I see giving him a challenge are going to be Bisping (and that will have to be a few years from now as Bisping is not ready yet) and Vera when he drops down to LHW after he becomes HW champion (eventually as he still has some years to go as well).

So if UFC does not bring in worthy LHW's Chuck will retire the champion and will go down in the eyes of Dana White and the UFC as the best LHW ever blah blah, they will certainly pedal this to all of us as Dana did on the pre-fight taping the night before UFC 62.

Chuck could very well be that man but he needs to prove it against world class strikers from Pride like Silva or Shogun. It would even help his cause a great deal if he were to fight and defeat Arona or Little Nog it just needs to be someone with great-world class striking because since Vitor he has only faced 1 great striker and that was Rampage and Rampage destroyed him so certainly it is time for Chuck to be tested agains by a great striker.

If you just watch him KO these wrestlers and grapplers it's impressive but in the same sense you must realize that these wrestlers and grapplers are forced to become strikers when they fight Chuck so what Chuck is doing is KO'ing world class wrestlers and grapplers that are only mediocre strikers so he is actually defeating OK-sub par strikers and not world class wrestlers and grapplers as that aspect of their game is inferior to his takedown defense.

So Chuck fighting Tito and Babalu is like him fighting Bonnar and really, Bonnar would have just as good of a chance against Chuck as Tito and Babalu have. It may sound ridiculous to some but it is true, you are forced to become a striker against Chuck so if you have shitty standup the actual fight will consist of Chuck vs a can even if you are a world class wrestler or grappler.

Its strange in so many forums I look at when Chuck beats someone its just more dissing of him or trying to explain away the fight and simply not giving him credit. People keep bringing up stuff like Quinten's win over him year's ago as if Chuck is anywhere near the same fighter. He's improved vastly since then. I mean thats about as fair as taking a shot and Wanderlai by bringing up the KO by Belfort years ago as if that as any meaning to whats going on today.

Read my above post, it is not dissing him and there are lots of valid points in my statement. Wrestlers and Grapplers must become strikers as displayed in all of Chuck's fights since Rampage (only striker he fought since then is Vernon White who sports a 24-27 record and is from the Lion's Den need I say more). Since his loss to Rampage he has only been defeated once and that was by a world class wrestler however Randy did not do it with world class wrestling he did it with strikes that were finding their mark and from that point Chuck had to watch out for the striking and that made the takedowns possible.

The nest 2 Cuck vs Randy fights were Randy havig to be a striker again and not having the same success. They could've fought 10 times and Randy likely would've lost 9 of the 10 as he would've been forced to land some good standup before being able to get the takedown.
