AA only has 12 fights, 4 of which are loses
his biggest wins are against Matsu and Sylvia.. So he really hasnt fought anyone great yet, and he probably wont until he goes to Pride.

Tim Sylvia on the other hand has a lot of fights under his belt but I still think hes only a decent fighter.

AA has beaten Buentello,cabbage,Sylvia,arron brink,roman zentsov,ian freeman,justin eilers among others that's not a bad record.ufc's HW division is nothing compared to prides ,but sylvia and aa deserve some respect.

neither AA or sylvia have had to fight anyone because the divison has been weak until recently. when the have to fight vera and monson they both will be exposed. it may not be their fault that they havent fought anyone but the contenders to the title have faced better competition then the champions at this point.

vera has beat mike whitehead,fabiano scherner,eilers,and silva that's not more impressive than aa or sylvia.monson hasn't beat anyone of the caliber of some of aa and sylvia opponents and cruz has only beat mir.I wouldn't sat those guys records combined are better than aa or sylvia if you take into consideration the level of competetion.

Ya I'd like to see monson in action with Vera...it'd be intersting to see the outcome....also mir needs to get back into top shape and win soem matches because he could be a interesting addition to the picture....I don't like cruz and I think that he would get rocked by mir if they fought again..or anybody for that matter

why dont you like cruz? because hes amazing on the ground and beat mir in his second mma fight. the guy just started fighting mma and came into his first fight with little to no mma training. he is a wizard on the ground and has the reach to pose a danger on the feet to anyone once he gets his skills together.

I don't even know why I don't liek the guy....it's just one of those thigns that when you look at the guy you think...I don't like him...no i don't know..he is a wizard on the ground...but I think the main reason is I lost a bunch of money in the cruz mir fight so part of me blames him

I like Cruz, he's only had like what, 3 MMA fights? He is already a solid fighter, just needs to work on his striking. His ground game is amazing, if his stand-up gets better he could be a force in the UFC HW division. Plus he trains with Babaluuuuuuu! That's always a plus in my book.

yeah i'd like to see what aa is like against a solid ground fighter like mir,cruz,or monson

Monson I think is the one, hes lost to Forrest Griffin before but who cares hes great now, hes got strength and an all around game. But Vera is very crafty as well.. my pick is Monson though.
