I see Hughes/Penn being a battle like GSP/Penn, but I can also see Hughes just overpowering Penn and getting a stoppage by gnp, or Penn catching Hughes in a submission again. I'll take Hughes in this one though.

I'm a little more hesitant to make a guess on Franklin/Silva. Ace is pretty much my favorite fighter but Silva is nasty and Franklin can be beat by a striker like Silva. I see Franklin pulling out a close decision.

Debating fight predictions is silly in general. Thats why they're "predictions". It can't be proven until the event actually happens. I love when someone posts a prediction and people argue with the person's opinion, especially when they get nasty about it. It's hilarious. There were people on this forum jumping all over the people who said chuck was going to win. ( I stayed out of it because I didn't care about that fight) When you get to a certain level of competition with elite athletes the margin of error causing you to win or lose is small. So to say that either Penn or Hughes is definitely going to win is ludicrous. Unless of course you have a time machine, and if so please let me know so I can place some bets....please....pretty please.

Some people don't appreciate the jiu jitsu game. Knocking somebodys block off isnt all there is to it. Matt hughes doesn't have that great of submision defense, he's just strong. BJ will most likely submit him again. Matt may be strong but BJ is way quicker and smarter.

the logic is this... penn beat hughes, hughes beat st. pierre, st. pierre beat penn. since st. pierre beat penn i am going to say hughes will defeat penn @63. thats the logic bitch.

i dont see how anyone can actually believe that penn will defeat hughes. bj is horrible, i could beat the living shit out of him straight up. penn isnt even worthy to fight hughes.

so since Rampage beat Chuck and Wand beat Rampage twice, does that mean that Wand would beat Chuck easily? MMA math doesn't work.

1. Penn dominating hughes the whole round and choking him out after moving up a weight class is very impressive.

2. There is no way of knowing who is the better striker between your "uncle" and Silva untill they actually fight.
