Well being linked together now it would be shared of course. Besides that, where did the rumor actually originate? Was it first stated on CFZ Newsletter or somewhere else?

Yeah this isn't the first I've heard or written about it either, but there was flyers handing out promoting it and I would think you wouldn't want to promote something you're not sure your gonna have. Seems more likely now than it did before as just an on paper rumor that someone heard from some source and the word spread.

if they were handing out flyers with those guys on them then they better deliver or there in for some rough times. so if they were posted on the flyers for the fights then it should be and i hope it is true.

Id like to also bring up the notion that the first time you heard about the IFL and Strikeforce being on FSN was through the newsletter. Spank you spank you, bumblebee tuna.
I would say the only rumor that was never reported about was that Dana White and Nick Diaz thing. That was completely true cuz my source on that was Marcus Davis.

MMAweekly posted it today. Every other forum picked up their story and ignored mine. MMAWeekly had the same source for their shit as well, just wrote it as if someone told them. So them writing it seems to confirm it in everyone else's minds, are we convinced over here yet?
That's what I was trying to say the other day, it's been rumored for a while that's nothing new, but now the rumor has gone public from the company themselves in a promotional way. So it's gotta be true now unless WFA is looking to bury themselves before they even get going again.

| Bas to officially return vs Kimo
LOS ANGELES, May 30th, 2005 – Following months of public speculation regarding a potential comeback to the sport he once dominated, the World Fighting Alliance (WFA) today announced the return of mixed martial arts (MMA) superstar Bas Rutten. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion and 3 x King of Pancrase has officially signed to fight for the WFA and will make his return to the cage at WFA: King of the Streets on July 22nd at the Forum in Los Angeles against infamous Huntington Beach street-fighter Kimo in a bout that’s nothing short of personal.
After more than a six-year hiatus from competitive fighting, highlighted by work as a color commentator and network studio analyst for FOX Sport’s Pride fighting broadcasts and his involvement as a coach in the newly formed IFL, Rutten began to feel the competitive itch to get back in the cage. The recent announcements of the revitalized WFA, its impressive list of MMA stars and its first event at the Forum in Los Angeles on July 22nd provided Rutten the added motivation to make his comeback official.
“Speaking with WFA CEO Jeremy Lappen about his plans for the WFA and seeing the incredible fighters that are signing with the WFA had me very motivated about returning to the cage,” said Rutten. “I’ve managed to stay pretty close to “fighting shape” amidst my involvement with the IFL and my broadcasting work, and I’m confident that my skills will be sharp as ever when I face Kimo on July 22nd.”
Rutten will return to face a formidable opponent in Kimo, in a fight fueled by animosity, stemming from rumors over the past month of Rutten’s return and his specific decision to target Kimo as his first opponent fresh out of retirement.

This may be the 1st time I don't order a UFC in awhile. Looks like my PPV money is going to Pride and WFA for July. Bas back is great news, can't wait to see how he looks in action.
There is more of the press release. I just didn't want to take up a whole page with one post. Go to MMANews.com or MMAWeekly.com to see the rest.
