PS: whoever said fedor will lose by a rear naked choke is stupid, if Nogueira couldn't do it and he's arguably the best submission specialist in the world then the only way to beat fedor is to knock him out and that has almost happend so he isn't invinsible.

am i making any sense | actually you are not making sense. the fedor/coleman and shogun/randleman is pretty much usa/ufc vs. the world/pride. these two usa guys were champs an are well known in the us, but fedor and shogun is not. these two fights will be a massacre of epic porportions. pride is smart, have unknown badasses to the us beat known guys in the us.

but niether have fought in the ufc for how long now?????
the fact is he is protected, that was my point, he IS a great fighter but is worshiped by way to many. great fighters fight great fighters, period. i just hope his next fight can fit the bill.

He's fought Nog 3x, who's considered the #2 HW in the world. He's fought Semmy Schilt a K-1 GP champ, Mirko Cro Cop(top 5 HW), Heath Herring(top 10 HW at the time), and other solid fighters like Coleman, Fujita, Goodridge, and Randleman.
You also have to remember he's been fighting with an injured hand since 2003 too. He just had surgery months ago and is now recovered and ready to go again.
The only top HW in PRIDE he hasn't fought so far is Kharitonov(former training partner), Josh Barnett(only been in PRIDE 1 year), and Mark Hunt. I'm sure we'll see him fight one of these guys if not all 3 sometime in the future.
